I have a Lenni and I have been using between 190-200 on the Towa gauge and my bottom thread is really small ugly stitches, what am I doing wrong? I have not been happy with my any of my stitches lately, does anyone have any advice about how to consistently get really pretty stitches top and bottom? I am beyond frustrated.

Has anyone got an idea why the 100% cotton fabric on a client's quilt keeps having pulled threads and the cut edges are fraying badly. I am using new needles and I even reduces the size from an NM 110/18 to a NM 100/16, but it still pulls threads. Thanks

How many pre-wound (70yds ea) do you think that I would need on a king size (100 x 99) quilt? Is there a formula somewhere?

When I test my stitches on a scrap of bleached muslin on my quilt sandwich my top and bobbin stitches both look great on the sample. But when I quilt on the actual quilt top, the top stitches are perfect and the bobbin stitches are too tight. Any ideas? My quilt sandwich is not too taunt. Thanks for your help, it is appreciated.

I have a Lenni (22" throat space) on a 12' frame, but when I am quilting a 92"+ quilt the back of the Lenni head keeps hitting the mass of the rolled up quilt. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I quilted a wall hanging for a lady that had some trapunto, stitch -in- the ditch, free motion quilting, and some areas that were not quilted in all four of the borders, and it is was perfectly square. But, after it was bound it has wavy borders, what can I do? Should I go back into the not quilted areas and do some horizontal quilting lines on the side borders to stabilize them and vertical lines of quilting on the horizontal borders????? Any suggestions on how to make it hang straight? Thanks

I am working on my first T-Shirt quilt and I have some concerns about quilting it, because it has a combination of 100% cotton T-Shirts and 100% polyester materials. The logos on the athletic shirts have rubberized material on it that I won't even attempt to quilt over, I will echo the logos and stitch in the ditch around the quilt block. Any advice about what I should use for: Thread: Top Bobbin Needle type and size: I am using Hobbs Thermor batting Any ideas or advise is appreciated. Rosanne Brunn

Has anyone ever had problems quilting on polyester athletic T-Shirt fabric, I keep getting skipped stitches?

Fellow Quilters When you lay down a 10" pantograph on your table, which way do you face the label? For instance, if you are standing at the back of your machine and table do you put the panto label on the right or left side? I am sure if the panto has a definite directional design and that affects the quilt design then that would tell you what to do. But, on the non-directional panto that I am currently quilting with, my label is on the right, which means that I have a few inches of blank paper against the back of my table. So, I was wondering is there a purpose for the blank part of

Does anyone have any suggestions because, I have a Lenni with an L bobbin, which runs out of thread quickly. I prefer to wind my own bobbins because i can match my top and bottom threads and to save money. But I don't even make two rows of a panto before i run out of thread. I have gone to inserting a new bobbin with each new panto row and end up with a lot of partial filled bobbins. I have even talked to my dealer about changing to an M bobbin. ????????

I was working on an 89" long quilt with cotton pellon batting using a 10" panograph on my Lenni. About 3/4 of the way thru quilting the top the rolled up quilt became thick enough on the pickup roller that the back of the sewing head would hit the rolled up quilt. This, of course, would knock my quilting off. I tried to advance my quilt to compensate for this, but it got my spacing off and if I moved my laser light that only made it worse. And yes I did have my quilt under the leveler bar. Any ideas how to avoid this problem in the future??????
