Jacque Davis

I have a thread jam in the hook assembly my machine is frozen needle down. I have sprayed WD-40 and used tweezers and needle nose pliers to try to wiggle the threads that are hanging from both sides of the hook. Before I take more drastic measures can anyone offer any ideas? It is a George machine. I appreciate any inputs! Jacque
