  1. I am located in New Hampshire and I am asking $3,500.00. Please reach out if interested. I have been hanging onto this machine in the hopes my daughter would get the "quilting bug." This didn't happen, and since I have another machine, I thought someone else would have an interest, and I could use the additional space. Thanks for your interest, Lorri.
  2. 2004 Ultimate 1 with 14" table for sale in New Hampshire. I am the second owner and have only done a handful (less than 10) pantograph quilts, the original owner used it sparingly as well. It is in great condition. Smooth movement and stiches perfectly.
  3. Duffie: If you're interested, I am currently selling my Ultimate 1.
  4. Thanks, Jim. I was able to find an old style open toe foot, and am curious what this measures when it arrives. May I ask if you do ruler work and if so, what adjustment you make when doing crosshatching, lattice, or just geometrical shapes? Just curious how everyone is handling the discrepancy. I am going to try to get an accurate, or close to accurate measurements on medical tape and apply it to the back of my ruler, and am hopeful this will work.
  5. Yes, that had occurred to me. Gammill has an adjustment you can make to adjust it, but only forward or back. As far as I know you cannot make an adjustment side to side. I don't know if I can make that same type of adjustment on my Ultimate 1 since it is older. Thank you for your advice on TLAR, and I agree that my FM quilting should be relaxing. I actually find any type of sewing or quilting relaxing!! Thanks again for your thoughts, I appreciate it.
  6. Yes, you and I are on the same page! However, see how difficult it was to type in a message? This is what happens when I get quilting, it is too stressful and complicated, thus, why I am looking for the feet. To most people this probably isn't a big deal, but in my mind it is, because that is how I sew and piece, very precise. I have always been a perfectionist, has to be perfect. May in time I won't be so critical, fingers crossed.
  7. Thank you for your suggestion, but the problem is that the 9/16" foot is 1/16" larger, so I need to reduce the foot by that much.
  8. Since the hopping foot that comes on the Gammill is 9/16" when you line the edge of that up with the ruler you are not getting a true and accurate 1/4" inch. If you continue lining your rule up 1/2", 3/4" etched ruler lines, the spacing is not accurate. In other words, I have to mark my quilt tops and then stitch on the marked lines for accuracy. This adds a considerable amount of time to the quilting process and I am running the risk of the marked lines staining the quilt top. Also they have a spoon foot in the set that from what I understand is very helpful when working with patchwork or pantographs it is supposed to reduce puckering on the patchwork and allow you to stitch off and back on a top with snagging the sides of the quilt. From what I am understanding before Gammill came out with the Quick Change Foot system they did have changeable feet (not sure which ones), however, when you changed out the foot you had to adjust the height of the hopping foot each time. So, to make things simpler and easier they came up with the new system that comes with an adapter that you glue to your hopping foot, and then the feet are changeable without having to adjust the hopping foot height. I am looking for either of the types of feet. At this point I am trying to figure out the math to mark a piece of medical tape making the 1/16" adjustments and attaching it to the back of my clear ruler. Perhaps there are rulers out there that this has already been done, but I am only see rulers that assume your foot is the true 1/2" foot. Hope this make a little more sense, and I am hoping others may have suggestions on how they use their rulers for accuracy since my Ultimate 2 also has the 9/16" foot, so it doesn't matter which machine I use, I am still having the same issue. Thanks so much!
  9. Hello All, I am looking for feet to fit my Gammill Vision. Apparently Gammill is no longer offering the "quick change feet." So, I am reaching out to see if perhaps someone has a set that they are not using and would consider selling. I am having trouble using the lines on my ruler for accurate spacing, perhaps others have suggestions? Any advice is appreciated!
  10. Hello. I wonder what you have for feet and if you would consider selling them separate from the machine. II can be reached at 603-648-2683. Thanks so much.
  11. Hello, Donna. I am wondering what you have for optional feet, and if you would consider selling them apart from the machine. Thanks. I can be contacted at collinsbuilders@tds.net or 603-648-2683. Thanks so much!
