  3. Everyone keeps saying handle"s". I was taught to use only the left handle holding on with both hands. You really can get your whole body into it. Just saying
  4. Lib, I have a K-craft and love it. I've had it for 3 years, and had no problems. I only paid $100 at the time. Here's a video
  5. Try Rhonda Beyers' curved crosshatching rulers. Quilter's Rule was selling them, and I know she did some training clips on how to use them.
  6. I had Amy take off my thread cutter when my Millie was getting a spa treatment, and ordered Donita's base plate as I was tired of the same issue with my Hartley base. I never use my thread cutter.
  7. It's too bad you cannot view the video free on the quilting school site. The video link took me there and wanted a signin. If that's the case, I guess they are going to miss a sale or two.
  8. I always look forward to the first snowfall, esp the heavy wet stuff that coats everything...as long as it's on a weekend.
  9. I don't have a very good feeling about this customer. I think she could be trouble.
  10. Love this quilt! Thanks for the visual instructions, I'm going to try it sometime.
  11. My first reaction was a panto or e2e. I think that a nice design will show very well.
  12. I wish I lived closer, I'd drop it off myself too.
  13. When I purchased my Millie in 2005, I kept the foam insert, but did not keep the box it was shipped in because I had cut it open to get the machine out. My advise to anyone purchasing a new machine is to kept the BOX too. It cost me $30.00 for a new box plus $28.10 to have it shipped to me so I can send my machine back for servicing. Just thought I'd pass that along.
  14. Rita, I did a Burgoyne Surrounded and posted it on this site a while back. I just found out that it won Best Machine Quilting in our local quilt show this past weekend. Here is the link to it on my webshots. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2321163150100486409fhtLQj?vhost=home-and-garden
