  1. Yes, We have your order and are getting it through the proper channels at the factory! I will be emailing you the sales order, then we'll talk on the phone and finish the details! It won't be long now and you'll be quilting.
  2. Hi Everyone, APQS would love to tell you all about the opportunites of being an APQS sales rep, whether in the USA or Australia. I am going to host a 1-hour telephone conference where you can call in and listen to the requirements of becoming an APQS sales rep. Because there are differences between USA and Australia, I'm going to hold two seperate conferences. For anyone in the USA, the conference will be: Thursday, March 24 at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Savings Time For anyone in Australia, the conference will be: Tuesday, March 29 at 9 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time (this will be the morning of March 30 for Australians; depending on your time zone it should be 10 or 11 a.m.) You can e-mail me at heidi@apqs.com to register for either conference. I would like your name, address, phone number, e-mail, what APQS machine you currently own and how long you've been long-arm quilting. Please include a snapshot of you, so I can put a face to your name. Also include a photograph of where your machine lives. When you register, I will give you a phone number and pass code to call at the appropriate time. I'm looking forward to talking with many of you in the next few weeks. Sincerely, Heidi Kaisand
  3. Hi Everyone! I wanted to clarify a few details on Karen's post. You all are correct that warranties at APQS are non-transferrable. And, yes, when machines are traded in to the factory and refurbished we do add a one-year warranty to that machine. And, yes, there have been some circumstances that we have transferred warranties, but they usually involve some horribly sad death. When Karen and I were e-mailing yesterday I was not clear in explaining this and it is easy to see why Karen walked away thinking we were offering a one-year warranty on her machine being sold second-hand. My apologizies to her. E-mails are great, but it's a good reminder to always make sure that you include all the details! But, here is something I can offer to anyone that purchases Karen's machines--ONE FREE BEGINNER'S CLASS--taken at your local APQS sales reps home/studio/shop. This class is a value of $200 and is my gift to the new owner of her machine. Please let me know if there are any further questions regarding this. Thank you. Heidi
  4. Sorry...at a wedding...in a blizzard...deleted porn...all in a days work at APQS!
  5. Hi Everyone, Don't know if it's because of the thunderstorms that rolled through last night or the water-soaked ground we have in Iowa, or just because...but our telephone lines are down. If you call the 800 # you get a message that your call can not be completed as dialed. Qwest has been called and we hope for a quick fix. In the meantime, all service issues should be e-mailed to service@apqs.com. All sales issues should be directed to sales@apqs.com. And, as always you can contact me directly at heidi@apqs.com or 641-751-3395. My cell phone is working great!

  7. After two months of anticipation (that really seemed more like nine months), the official Bliss table has been born in Iowa! Our team of engineers have delivered two Bliss upgrades today in central Iowa as a test-run before we start shipping the upgrades to our eager customers! Reports from the engineers are that our new "baby" is as sweet as can be! In the next few weeks I will be contacting customers on the waiting list to get the Bliss upgrade shipped to you! If you're not on that list and want to be, call your local sales reps now! If you have any questions about Bliss or your Bliss order, please contact me at heidi@apqs.com.

  9. We are experiencing problems with the phones today and do not know at this time how long we'll be down. E-mails are working, so please contact me at heidi@apqs.com if you need anything. I will direct your e-mail to the appropriate person. Thank you!
  10. Memorial Day marks the kickoff of summer for me! The end of school, walks in the park, picnics, a visit to the pool...and APQS has decided to let us start celebrating the hot days of summer by closing the office doors today at 2 p.m. CST. If you have a quilting emergency between 2 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, please feel free to e-mail me at heidi@apqs.com or call my cell phone at 641-751-3395. Otherwise get out your flip-flops and sunscreen...and be sure not to burn the marshmellows when you're making smores. Heidi Kaisand APQS
