  1. Good question. I can't answer it unfortunately. I don't own an embroidery machine so I am totally in the dark. I know someone will chime in.
  2. Your quilting is beautiful and I love the quilt too.
  3. Love his work, but haven't kept up with it. Now, I am curious too.
  4. Having previously owned a Liberty...this is a great machine, at a great price!
  5. I have learned that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" true when I didn't care for the quilt top that someone else constructed. Just because I didn't care for it that didn't mean it wasn't beautiful to the owner. Thank goodness for that, because all the quilts would look the same if we all had the same tastes.
  6. Wish I could help, but I don't know much about Tin Lizzie. Maybe someone else will chime in with an opinion. Freehand is always a great option, and you are never limited on designs because of your imagination!
  7. Welcome back! Your new business name is good! Best of luck starting up again.
  8. Colmubus is a nice city. There are some good quilt shops there too. When I lived in Ohio, we would go shopping there because there wasn't much in Wapakoneta for shopping and Lima just didn't have a lot either.
  9. Inquiring minds want to know! I was thinking the same thing, cuz my eyelids are closed that early in the morning!
  10. I removed mine when I owned a Millie...I have a Freedom now. There are just a couple of screws that hold it on. It was really easy to remove. If you have concerns, just call APQS, they will help you remove it.
  11. I'm probably late for a response, but I'll give mine anyway. I have owned a millie, now a I have a Freedom. I don't miss my channel locks, never used the thread cutter and I prefer the weight of the Freedom. I also feel the Freedom moves more easliy for me. Good luck with your decision.
  12. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
  13. I have a front loader, it is a whirlpool. It does at good job, but I don't know the size of it.
  14. I love the smell of the fog! I know that sounds funny. I grew up north of SF, but haven't lived there for over 30 years so I can't help you on LQS's. Have fun. Do take a sweater the mornings and evenings can be cold when the fog is in.
  15. I worked at a fabric store 35 years ago and one of the sales clerk did that. It was Halloween, she had a pin in her mouth and someone else came up behind her. Scared her with a loud "Boo"...she inhaled and it was swallowed in an instant. It pasted with no problems.
  16. Have you checked out Anne Bright's designs? Her designs are not as dense as some of the designers. Or Designs by Vickie?
  17. I have shipped a machine with UPS. They did a great job.
  18. I, too, agree with everything that has been said. Take time to heal first.
