  1. I don't think that the compuquilter system will work with the newer laptops. It was meant to be used with the XP system. Buth was getting close to getting the system a upgrade when the shit hit the fan and made a mess. From what I remember Dee Dee sold the CQ part of the control a trusted employee. That's all I know. I was going to make an offer at the time buy I was too late. Oh well.
  2. Hey Winnie. You might want to call Pfaff. They're more equipped to serve you better then APQS. Good luck.
  3. Hey QP. How ya doing? You can reach here for the next few days. It will reach my email as well. I'm going to need a little more info to access this problem that you're having. Zeke. Thanks Jim.
  4. Hey John. Did that picture help you out for your documents. I can send you more if you need. Mines hooked up to an UI and runs just fine. I have a friend of mine looking into a tower replacement though. I’m afraid that one day it will just crapped out and not boot up. Anyways, let me know if you need anymore information. Zeke.
  5. Hi Peggy. Zeke here. Check your red button on the little black box on top of your machine. If canfeel a small click while depressing it, then most likely it has broken. It should have a smooth depression. You also might to take the top off the machine and see if all the wires are secure and not loss or not connected.
  6. Let me see what I can do for a manual. That link did a whole lot of nothing. Sorry. Zeke.
  7. By the way, Ken Quilt is a fine running machine. My first machine was a 622 and the crazy thing is still running strong with the new owner. I did revamp the track system before I sold it. The machine glides like glass and I also made the table a little more user friendly for us quilters. Zeke.
  8. For all your info. Ken Quilt has new owners in California just southeast of Sacramento. I'll try to find out who the new owners are soon. I'll have to dig up my client list and make a few calls. Zeke.
  9. Good goolie miss molly. I've heard of this in a rv, but not a car. Make sure you have a quality stitch your satisfied with. Look into a 12 volt machine as well. I'm sure someone must put one out. Zeke
  10. Hi Linda. Nice to hear from you.  We would like to get close to Mathews, NC.  Do you know of any places to rent until we decide to buy.  We have a realtor, but i know quilter are picky about their own homes.  Any help would be wonderful.  Thank again. Zeke.

Not sure which route we'll be taking, but I'll let you know if we come by you.   My earlier flying day had me doing flight training in Elko.   Fun times back then.  Zeke.

Fabulous, let me know if you are coming my way.. Elko has changed a lot in the last two decades.

  12. Good to know that you're not quitting. Talent is a bad thing to waste. I just picked up an UI for a good price minus the table. It was regulated and runs fine. A few days later I found a table. Good luck on your search miss batty. Zeke
  13. Cute cat. Zeke. Are you going to get something different or quit altogether?
  14. You might have to rehard-wire your encoder wheel. It can be done from the outside of your machine. Zeke.....
  15. Hi Donna your going have to cut your cable down a bit. Sounds scanty know. Is it the table or carriage call me 916-689-4992. Zeke..
  16. Hey, kids. Zeke here. My wife just told me that she is willing to do your binding that you don't want to do. She charges .25 an inch and thats machined on the front and hand on the back. She also said that she would do just the front for .18 an inch. She is also very quick. So give me a cal. 916-689-4992
  17. Yes, so would I. It's a very nice machine. I might have to go buy it anyways. It's just so clean and in such wonderful shape. zeke............
  18. Don't think that it would be cheap. It's an industrial machine and that means it's not exactly light in weight. The table is industrial as well and heavy too. I would most likely say that it will cost just as much or more to send it to you. By the hour, zeke....................
  19. Yes, I wish you were as well. It is a wonderful machine and looks just like new. zeke..........
  20. I think that hippie stipple is quilted with long strands of hair instead of thread. zeke........
  21. Hey Shana, I have a few as well and I know how to load and shoot them. HE HE HE!!!!!!!!!!!!! zeke......
  22. How about "Ripped & Taddered Longarm Service" , "Dirt Floor Quilting", or "Flypaper Stitchers' on the Run". Years ago I had one of my clients call me the "Needle & Bullet Quilter".
