  1. The left lights on my 2014 Millennium are flickering. Any clue how to stop it? Kathleen Crabtree Millennium
  2. As I was freehand quilting tonight, all of a sudden the foot was laying on the quilt. I couldn’t believe it, but the hopping foot broke just where the screws go in. My Millenium is four yrs old and I never change the foot. Now I’m out of commission until I get it replaced. Kathleen Crabtree Millennium
  3. Thanks for all your kind words. I purchased my first APQS in 1999. I love to quilt Judy Niemeyer quilts.
  4. I'm so excited that my Glacier Star quilt won a ribbon at the Minnesota Quilt Show last week. There were many fabulous quilts on display. I got 1st place in the 1-Person Large category which I never dreamed I'd get along with $550. Kathleen Crabtree Millennium
  5. Hartley Microdrive Handles for sale, $100 One of the balls on the handle has a slight defect, but doesn't affect the use of the handles. Kathleen Crabtree Millennium
  6. I have Sharon Schambers books Continuous Line Quilting Pattern Books 1-7 that I'm selling for $10 each plus shipping. Email me at quiltingbykc1@charter.net if interested. Kathleen Crabtree
  7. Thank you for posting. I see it only going through 1 hole on the first guide, how many holes is it going through on the one by the IQ wheel?
  8. Apparently my brain isn't functioning. I've had my new Millennium almost a year and I can't remember how to run the thread through all the guides with the IQ. I thought I tied on my thread and didn't so I need to start from scratch. Now the tension is way too tight. Can anyone post a photo of how you've gone through all the triple guides? TIA Kathleen Crabtree

  10. As everyone has stated, go step by step. Also read the complete book of instructions and ALWAYS check the website for corrections before beginning. There are several for the Glacier Star.
  11. I bought my first longarm in 1999. Last year I closed down my business and sold both of my Millenniums. However, I purchased a brand new Millennium to work on my own quilts and a few special people. I've been downsizing and have so many wonderful books that helped me to become the freehand quilter that I am. Each and everyone of them was a blessing as I created my own style of quilting. There are more that 70 books for sale. Most of my books have had the binding removed and put into 3 ring binders so I could just take a page to the quilt I was working on. To keep shipping costs down, I will ship without the binders unless you specify that you want them. Please email me quiltingbykc1@charter.net if you are interested and I will send you a list (it's too large to add). I can send you an invoice through Paypal.
  12. I sure with this Feathered Tree Skirt was mine. Maybe some day I'll make one of my own.
  13. It sounds like it may be the power supply module. A new one is on the way. Great service, thanks to Dawn and Mike.
  14. Hi all, I have a 2014 APQS Millennium with an Intelliquilter. When stitching there is an unsmooth sound of hesitation. On several occasions, in the middle of stitching it stops, jumps and starts stitching in one spot. I've had to quickly hit pause so it doesn't make a hole in the quilt. I'm afraid to step away from the machine. I've sent my logs to Intelliquilter and they found nothing unusual. I've called and emailed Amy a video of it stitching, and gotten no response. Any ideas? Kathleen Crabtree
  15. Congratulations, I took 2nd place in the 1 person large piece with my Amazon Star. I was so excited.
  16. If you like Mexican food you need to eat at Las Americas Mexican Restaurant & Bar. The food is wonderful.
  17. Well it's finished. I'm sure my friend will be thrilled with the result.
  18. After selling both of my 2002 Millenniums, I purchased a new Millennium with Bliss and Glide. It arrived on Wednesday and I'm absolutely amazed. I'm working on a Primitive Gathering wool quilt and it's like quilting through butter. I'm doing all freehand, because my Intelliquilter can't be hooked up until I get a new docking station, etc. I can't believe I waited so long. Thank you APQS for making such wonderful machines for us!
  19. I purchased my first longarm in 1999 without a stitch regulator. I was forced to learn how to do everything manually. I put my Intelliquilter on in 2010. I love my IQ, but I'm really glad I did it the way I did. There are a lot of longarmers in my area, but most of them have no ability to quilt without a computer. If my IQ goes down for any reason, I can continue quilting freehand.
  20. For sale 2002 Millennium with 14' table. April 25, 2013 I took the machine to Carroll, Iowa for a spa treatment. I was told that it's in excellent condition. Lever switch assembly, also added flywheel cover. They also upgraded the boards. Zippers included I did have the bobbin winder removed because I never used it. I have a stand alone bobbin winder. Selling price $8,000 Please let me know if you have more questions. Kathleen Crabtree
