  1. I have for sale a gently used 2003 APQS Millennium (26-inch throat) industrial long arm machine on a 12-foot table. I added the computer program system Quilt Path 3 years ago at a cost of $9,500 USD. Quilt Path is a very versatile program and comes with free upgrades and updates FOR LIFE to whoever owns it, even if you are a second owner of the software. It is great for blocks of any shape, borders, whole cloth quilts and pantographs plus many more options. There are tons of great support people for beginners for both the Millennium and the Quilt Path. The machine comes with a built-in stitch length regulator, channel locks, automatic thread cutter, manual, and much more. I have a motorized Quilt advance system worth every penny of the $1,000 USD I paid for it. I have taken good care of her and have never had any issues with it. The tension is easy to set, and I primarily use Glide thread and Glide magnetic bobbins. I have upgraded to the Bliss Rail system and table about 4 years ago ($3,000 USD) and all new M&M wheels and now it is as smooth as butter for great Free motion quilting. I have also upgraded the older Fluorescent light to a LED light with both white and black light which opened a wider visibility area tremendously. I also upgraded the original hopping foot to a removable ruler foot so if you are interested in acquiring new/different feet you can order them from APQS or a dealer that is close to you. The ruler base is included. (worth 140 USD new). There are several different feet you can choose from. I replaced the canvas leaders this last spring (2018) so they are nice and fresh. I have a leader grip style mounting system called Mondo clips. They are much more flexible and user friendly than the original Leader grips. They are easily removable if you have a project that you just need to quickly pin on. I have some rulers and Quilt Path Digital Designs if you would like to start off your library of designs other that the stock designs Quilt Path comes with. I will throw in a couple cones of thread to get you started. To buy brand new at today's prices would be about $30,000 USD. I have added a comparison chart below with the exchange rate from the APQS website. An APQS dealer has priced my machine at $20,000 CAD or $15,300 USD. I am open negotiationg offers if you are interested. Please email me Terry Forlin at tforlin0006@gmail.com with any questions you may have. I live in Fruitvale BC and you can come pick up or we can arrange for shipping which will be extra. Just for comparison, what a NEW machine and software with upgrades would be in US dollars and Canadian dollars . *These prices are before taxes and/or brokerage fees. Exchange rate: USD to CAD for the date of July 26, 2018, 1.30715 Millennium: $18,900.00 USD X 1.30715 = $24,705.16 CANADIAN Bliss System: 1,000.00 USD X 1.30715 = 1,306.82 CANADIAN Quilt Path Program: 9,500.00 USD X 1.30715 = 12,415.30 CANADIAN Motorized Quilt Advance: 1,350.00 USD X 1.30715 = 1,764.05 CANADIAN TOTALS NEW PACKAGE: $29,850.00 USD X 1.30715 = $40,191.33 CANADIAN
  2. Hi everyone, i am looking for a set of micro drive handles for a 2003 Millenium. Do you know where i might find a used set? I am in Canada and with the exchange rate being around 20 cents on a dollar I would like to keep the cost down as much as I can so that is why I don't want to buy new if I can help it. Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks Georgene , much appreciated.
  4. Wonderful lesson Jessica. I was wondering if you could post the pictures in a jpg format instead of thumbnails so we can print them out without them getting blurry and distorted with the increase of size. Thanks so much again.
  5. Hi everyone, I have been very busy quilting up a few long overdue things. I seemed to have worked out a few kinks in my Quilt Path. I am now convinced that a lot of the issues i was having was because of a faulty USB Hub. Here on the forum another lady was experiencing almost identical issues as i was. She decided to take the hub off and plug the tablet directly to the head of the machine. So far no serious problems have come back to haunt me. I am still having a few little things happening but nothing i have not been to fix or workaround. I hope things will just keep getting better. Again i thank you all for your help and comments.
  6. Hi again, sorry i haven't had a chance to call, or visit too much at all. Just letting you know that i haven't forgotten. I will these calls made either tomorrow or monday. (if i don't have any more rush jobs at work). I sure hope the fix will be simple. Thanks again everyone for your help and ideas.
  7. I have a similar problem. My bottom tension seems to be fine but my top thread does the same as Linda's photo. I get a loop or few loops once in a while throughout my top quilting. I will check my pigtails or any hangups. Hope that is all. Terry Forlin
  8. Thanks for answering my question Angela. I see what you mean now. Thank goodness i have not stitched through a quilt yet. Terry
  9. Thank you Dawn. I will call you tomorrow if you are available. I have a few things to ask you. I will need to write them down so i don't forget. Good night. Terry
  10. Thank you for replying Carmen , I think you are correct and i will just have to stay home from work and call APQS or Grace or both. Terry Forlin
  11. Georgene, I am so glad you are loving your QP. I too am curious about changing out QP for IQ. My QP is fairly new as i just got it about november 2013. I don't what kinks that they may have worked out of the system but I myself still have quite a few issues i am still working through. I think i have a lemon. I have read hundreds of posts on this forum and although there are lots with issues like me there are a lot of people like yourself that loves their QP. Unfortunately I have not had a totally trouble free quilt session to date. Happy Quilting Terry
  12. Dawn , Can you tell me the purpose of the "connest first and last points" ? Terry
  13. Hi Tom, I am going to try checking the task manager tomorrow and see what is happening with QP while it is running. I will keep you posted. Sorry I am so delayed getting back to the forum but i caught a bug last and havent been able to quilt yet. Thanks for the tips. Terry
  14. Are these micro handles still for sale? If they are I am looking for a set. Thanks
  15. Hi Angela, Yes i talked to Grace company before Xmas and they had me reinstall Quilt Path and install the newest update. I have not quilted anything larger than a baby quilt since last fall when i first set up QP and started using it. Actually i left work at lunch time so i could go home and try quilting my wall hanging on the table now and call APQS if something went wrong today. I took the advice from above and took the hub right off the machine and plugged the head directly to the tablet. I then got my panto back in place. I started it up and not once did it freeze on me ... . I only have quilted loose designs so far . Last night and today i tried a feather combination for a 4" border which was not a dense design. I hope this is the end of my issues and I apologize for my loss of temper in my earlier post but it is so frustrating when you try every little thing and nothing has worked for months. I have not installed any thing else on my tablet and i live in the country with no high speed internet except my hot spot on my cell phone. I keep that to a very minimum so i don't rack up a high data bill. I do have internet at work. Thanks for your suggestions and i will keep you posted if everything goes well. (or Not). Terry
