Have you tried searching this forum?  There have been many storage ideas throughout the years.  Here's my favorite, easy to move and fairly cheap to make:

I haven't been around here for a few years, life got really busy, but we are planning to move our 2013 Millie (14' table) to Tucson (eventually) with a stay in storage for a while. I called to ask some questions about moving the machine and got a rapid call back and great help (and answers to other questions as well). I know we all know how great APQS customer service is, but I know when I was deciding on a machine I read the forums here and looked for reports regarding customer service so I wanted to make a newer post for others to find. This company is really great!
    Thanks Mark and APQS!

QuiltGuy reacted to Primitive1 in Help Help Help - my customer's quilt ran......
I took the squares apart that were affected with runs and then soaked just them in the bowl with the synthrapol as well as a handful of the backing of the quilt with the batting that the red ran through.  I then rinsed them out under cold water and laid them flat on a white towel to dry under a fan.  I would think washing the whole quilt with synthrapol would be fine but I was not going to wet anything else on that quilt if I could help it!  My customer was aware of the whole process and saw each step so she knows what will happen and how to fix it if it runs again...I then had to appliqué those blocks back onto the top over the backing and batting and then requilt them.  It was a lot of work but it worked!

Dave she will have the CGM,they just haven't started using that feature yet.  Thankfully insurance covered a good part of the pump and then because BIL is low income the company reduced his out of pocket cost.  Right now it has been about 10 days so they are adjust insulin to get it to the right rates, mostly the basal insulin which she now has 3 different settings.  I'll be glad when we can just look and see where she is at and not have to wait for symptoms.  They come out of nowhere sometimes.  Last night she had a big dinner with pasta no less and she went down to 62 about 1 1/2 hours later.  Usually the pasta spikes her.  Then gave her the 15 carbs and got her up but over night she went to 357. Ugh it is a battle.  We'll get there.  She loves the pump!

True story.   A customer of mine was explaining to a friend who was to receive the quilt that I was quilting that it wasn't ready for the recipient yet because "It's at the longarmer's."  Recipient replies "Isn't it nice that she's using her disability to her advantage?"  I think she thought that my arms were so long they dragged on the ground.

QuiltGuy reacted to Shuttlebug in Classes with Angela Huffman from Quilted Joy
I just completed a 2 day beginner class taught by Angela Huffman from Quilted Joy. She is a fantastic fun teacher. She and her staff are so friendly and helpful. I never thought I would be able to do free motion/custom quilting, but after taking this class, I have a new outlook. Of course it is going to take that p word we all hate, practice, practice, practice. LOL I feel confident with the foundation she started us on that I will be able to build on this. I just wanted to post this to thank her for all her dedication, patience, and help she gave us newbies. If you ever have the opportunity to take a class from her, I highly recommend it. Head on over to quiltedjoy.com and check her out.

I'm so excited.  I talked to Mark and got everything ordered.  Can hardly wait.  I think I've decided to sell my SideSaddle computer system instead of trying to figure out how to make it work on the Bliss table.  We'll see.

Hi everybody. I just got home from work. The doctor did call today and let me know that the biopsy shows no cancer. The lump is still there, but doctor thinks it is just a fibroid mass. I have an appointment with him next Monday so he can remove my two stitches and discuss what to do about the mass.
thanks to everybody for praying I appreciate it more than you will ever know
