  1. Judi, I just received your block in the mail today. Its gorgeous. I\'ve never seen the dragonfly fabric before. Its very cheery. Also, thanks for the coaster. The cats got a hold of it and I don\'t know where it is at the moment. I am sure it will reappear soon. Everything always does. Thanks again.
  2. Heidi, Michelle and Jen, glad you rec\'d your blocks. Some blocks were hand sewn and others by machine. It just depends on how good the back is doing on a given day. I will be sending out some scrappy Card Tricks Friday. Don\'t know whose envelope they are going in yet. Stay tuned. Laura

  5. How big is this show? I don\'t live in Portland but visit several times a year because one of my sisters lives there and my best friend recently moved to Washougal, WA which is close by.
  6. I like the way you organized your categories. Now, all you need is a blog.
  7. I have actually given up on trying to figure out how to post a photo. Unless a techy neighbor helps me, it will never happen.
  8. OMG that is sooooo beautiful. Wish I could quilt as well as you. At least it is something to strive for.
  9. I didn\'t know that Karen had another book out. I will look for it in the stores.
  10. Jo Ellen, I received your block in yesterday\'s mail. It is gorgeous. I love the elegant yellow/blue design of the main fabric. Thank you so much.
  11. If you want to read my thank yous, please see pages 14 and 16. If any of you are offended that I did not send my blocks early, I am sorry. When a deadline is given, I expect that I have until the deadline to mail out the blocks. This group seems to be exclusive of new comers. Maybe those of you who are friends should only have block exchanges amongst yourselves, especially since you do not trust new comers such as myself. Regarding the suggestion that I did not respond to an email, please note that I never received an email from anyone. While it has been said that 2 of "those people" have not been on the forum for weeks, I am not one of those 2. I read the postings maybe twice a week but do not always post a comment; the reasons being that I know nothing about the topic or the comments are between 2 individuals only. If my level of activity is too small, please let me know and I will withdraw from the forum. Regarding the exchange, if you wish to remove me, be my guest.
  12. I just received a block from Dianne B. In today\'s mail. I love it, especially the main fabric which is a yellow calico. I can\'t believe I\'ve never seen it before since I collect yellow fabrics. Thanks Dianne.
  13. I haven\'t been online in a few weeks so didn\'t get to post confirmation of receipt of blocks from the following: Merry Jo Wilma Kristy Marylyn Beverly Judi B. They are all beautiful. Its funny that most of you used the same white fabric for the background. I can\'t figure out how to post a photo but will get help from a techy friend in a few days. Maybe he can help me get a signature and avatar/photo posted in my profile. I hope I haven\'t caused any of you angst waiting to hear if they arrived. I have been so busy reading quilting blogs that I never made it over here.
  14. It\'s lovely. The piecer certainly is creative to come up with the design. The McTavishing is gorgeous. You gotta be proud with this one.
