Thank you so much Cagey! I did forget to mention my youtube channel. It is in my profile though. I do not have an electronic version of my book unfortunately. We have, for the time being, only going to have hard copy of the book.

Hey everyone!! It's been forever since I've posted here... I can't believe how much has happened in the last couple years. I am so happy with my APQS machines. I use Millie for all my customer quilts and Lenni every single day to record a free motion quilting video to post on my Facebook page. I've posted over 230 videos so far and love reading the comments from quilters all over the world. If you ever need some inspiration, swing on over to my Facebook page and check out my videos. I would love your feedback. I took the first hundred designs and turned them into a book which just launched

HELP, I don't trust my Janome dealer
Tracey replied to Bonnie's topic in Gone Quilting...Chat About Anything
Hey Bonnie, I have two Janome machines. All you need are the regular schmetz needles. If you are piecing, I always piece with the denim needles size 10. Extra sharp for the cotton. I had the 6500. (sold it and regretted it instantly). -

Hi everyone, I haven't been on the forum very much lately but I wanted to let you know that I have been posting a free motion design video each day. I'm doing 100 designs in 100 days. I thought I would post the link here. Hope you like them! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU5KPwWA2TaeO9xulOa5PKg

Longarm Classes Southern Ontario Tour
Tracey replied to Tracey's topic in Gone Quilting...Chat About Anything
Hi Janice, the beginner class is more like the certification class for renting. Loading the three layers, setting up a panto and start stops, advancing also some stuff on tension and so forth. the freehand one is fillers designs, allovers done freehand etc. The full descriptions are on my website www.whirlsnswirlsquilting.ca They are done lecture/demo style however, I will encourage students in the freehand class to get up and try stitching on the machine as well as drawing in their sketch books. Hope this helps. As for class numbers, I really don't know at this point. I need at least -

Wow!! I've had mine for a couple of years and have never used it. Guess I should give it another go -
Here's my questions....how much is the average quilter charging per square inch for all overs, I charge 3.50/ square foot. does anyone else charge a set-up fee? (I do) and how do you go about the customs?? According to my own price lists and the amount of hours I put into the custom quilts I do I never charge what the custom should be as I'm afraid to charge someone that much money. What do you charge someone for something that takes you 30 hours to do??? I spend an inordinate amount of time on these things and then charge 5.00/square foot max because I'm afraid of losing the client, and I'

Hi all, I very rarely do t shirt quilts but have one on the go at the moment My question is this...when you rip out stitches, do the holes disappear on the rubber/paint that is on the t shirts? I gave a quote waaaay too low for this one and I really only want to do an x in the middle of each block as the quilt is going to be much more time consuming than |I had thought. My first block is cross hatched but by the time I was done I realized that if I do all 30 yes...I said 30 squares 100 x 120!!! at this rate I will be here forever and I'm only getting paid for edge to edge so I was going to
