Resilient Quilter got a reaction from Nancyball in APQS Freedom for Sale
    Hi All,
I'm putting my APQS Freedom up for sale.  It runs great!  Stitch regulated, has new white table that is Bliss compatible.  Offering 5 Pantographs and 5 spools of thread with the machine.  Has the mushroom handles.  I contacted APQS as to what price is fair market value.  I was told $9500 to $10,000, so I've just reduced the price to $9,500.00.  She is ready for a new home.

    Well,
Its resolved, Thank Goodness!  I didn't have the machine threaded properly for Omni - you only use 2 holes on the thread guide, not all 3.  It also was an entire pack of bad needles.  Karen figured it out, by going over everything with me one step at a time.  Am so appreciative to have such a great resource close by.  I'm loaded and quilting!  YEA!!

    Hi,
Well, so far I have my machine getting a good bath with WD40.  Have let this sit for several hours and now that I'm home from grocery shopping, am going to go up and finish the deep clean.  I take very, very good care of my machine, so this whole thing is a mystery to me.  Am going to work on all of your suggestions and will post later tonight on how it all goes.  Thanks so much for the input - with customer quilts waiting, these sorts of issues make me a bit nuts.  Don't want to let my customers down, or delay them in any way.

Resilient Quilter reacted to rineps in Millie has made her way into the studio!
    Dear Friends,

I have to admit I was quite intimidated when I got home and found Miss Millie in all her glory perched in the studio.  We are slowly becoming friends.  I will keep you all posted on our relationship!

Love the studio that my husband has created for me.  I am having more fun that one person should be allowed to!

    Warm Regards,

Resilient Quilter reacted to rineps in A Present arrived on our doorstep today!!!!
My Millie arrived today!!!!  I have never been so very excited about anything, other than perhaps my wedding to the most wonderful man in the world and the birth of my 3 children.............(lol)!

Back story:  We have been shopping for about 2 years now and just waiting for the right time to pull the trigger on this purchase.  I happen to go to the AQS show in Lancaster alone and when I went to the booth to say hello to my favorite APQS folks, my sales rep Lorraine Harnish was there.  She remembered me from the couple of times that I have met her at local quilt shows over the past two years.  We said hello and exchanged pleasantries and then she asked me what machine I was going to purchase one day.  I told her that I was going to purchase the Millenium and would probably make the purchase later in the year.  She proceeded to ask me if she could take a picture of me next to the Millie, (which I thought was strange) but said ok.  As she was snapping the picture she said to me, "How would you feel if I told you that your husband called me yesterday and just bought you your machine!"  She then proceeded to take another picture of my shocked face!!!  Very funny pic I might add.  So it was a wonderful surprise and Millie is being set up by my wonderful husband as we speak.  Unforntunately, I'm in Phoenix at a conference and missing all the fun but will behome on Sunday!

I am so happy to be joining all of you in this wonderful journey I am about to embark on.  You are all amazingly talented and I look forward to sharing my work with you!

    Thanks for listening!
    Warm Regards,

I also had been told that alcohol was no longer needed.  So I was cleaning mine with just a piece of batting.  Then when I could hardly move my machine I was told to use alcohol.  It was amazing how much gunk I got off with the alcohol!

    Hi all,
I posted a couple days ago about my extended base being for sale.  Its the heavy, clear base for the Hartley Fence.  Have had a couple inquiries, and was advised to clarify my post.   I'm asking $100.  I just upgraded from my Ultimate I to a Freedom SR, and am one very happy lady!
