  1. dressed? check eaten breakfast? check kids off to school? check laundry in the washer? check hair brushed? check lotion? chapstick? check mentally prepared to sew? heck yeah...get outta my way, I am on a mission!
  2. i prefer my backing seams to be pressed to one side, but it is for wearability and no other reason. the only thing that matters to me is that selvage edges be cut off when joining long pieces of fabric.
  3. any textured panto, like double plume, would look great on this quilt. DP is easy and fast to quilt too. it's a win-win.
  4. if you go to my website, withakquilting.blogspot.com, and click on the quilt intake form, you can see what i am using. this might give you some ideas. Linda, ffq-lar, has a great intake form that i used to generate mine. beware though, i have not received any business through this site. i am way behind in my posts, and am concentrating on building my etsy shop instead, since longarming isn't doing it for me due to where i live, i think.
  5. sounds interesting. this is outside my price budget right now though. would love to hear what others think when they get it.
  6. i too got my fabrics. i love them. i received 3 duplicates, so we can play 'I Spy and Find the Match too'! Thanks again for a great swap.
  7. thanks mary for all your work in organizing this swap.
  8. connie...my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
  9. mine were sent priority mail on monday. i included a return label and $6 to cover the postage. they should make it by the 30th.
  10. I wish to be included in the second swap as well. Please let me know if I am in so I can get additional fabrics.
  11. Merry Christmas Suzan, and to every other member of my APQS family!
  12. Its gorgeous!!! You made this quilt come to life. Congratulations!
  13. I made an intake form (utilizing various suggestions) through Abobe Forms that can easily be filled out through my blog/website. You are welcome to take a look at mine if you wish. You can see it here: http://withakquilting.blogspot.com/p/quilt-inate-sheet.html
  14. adjust the #8 screw under the top cover. this runs the needle up/down potentiometer. this will fix your problem.
  15. what a peach! and that is why you have 5 golden stars!
  16. I am looking for suggestions for a quilt intake form that can be utilized for customer quilting. do you use something like this that you wouldn't mind sharing with me? thanks, K
  17. hi darlene, i do not know if this info helps or not. but, i have a millie (w/thread cutter) and a liberty. the ruler mate i have is for the millie, however, also fits on the liberty. so, perhaps, if donita cannot make a base for lucey...if she has one for the millie with the cutout for the thread cutter, it could still work for your customer. not ideal, i know, but at least maybe she can have a base that will fit.
