  1. Its gorgeous!!! You made this quilt come to life. Congratulations!
  2. adjust the #8 screw under the top cover. this runs the needle up/down potentiometer. this will fix your problem.
  3. it's a good life, if you don't weaken!

  4. i should say that more custom should be in your future. you 'rocked' both quilts with your gorgeous piecing/quilting!
  5. Dory, I charge $0.25 per linear inch to prepare and sew to both sides by machine. I have one lady I do this for and she is happy as pie to never learn how to do binding herself. I think it is time I raise my price! if she only knew that 3 of my most used quilts do not even have binding on them. shame on me!
  6. I love so fine and bottomline threads from superior. I have a sample of glide thread that I have yet to try. I have some metro cones as well. I prefer a matte thread compared to shiny...so metro sits on the shelf unless I need the color...and only then when the shiny doesnt compete with the fabric. I view glide to be similar to metro and isacord embroidery threads.
  7. Sue.. If you ever want to sell your crinkle...I am interested. Kristina
  8. Linda..you are too funny. Although you are correct. Many have changed machines and seem happier.
  9. Stephanie...where are you located. HMQS in Salt Lake City in May will have most of the different brand machines there as well. Seriously try them out...
  10. Welcome Stephanie..and just know that we here on the APQS forum are more than happy to assist in any way possible. I am one who never test drove a machine...nor had ever even seen a true longarm before mine! Mark at APQS was very helpful in my decision to buy my Green Millennium. APQS stands behind their products and is made in the good ole USA. That was very important for me. I love my machine and couldn't imagine owning anything other than an APQS. But, as has already been mentioned, try them all and decide for yourself. You will still be welcome here no matter which machine you choose to drive!
  11. Marion, put a call into APQS about the regulator beep. Amy, Christie, Dawn, Mark...somebody should be able to help you out. As far as your quilting, Mercedes is right...it takes practice and we all have been where you feel you are now. Hang in there. Post some pictures if you want. We do not bite and we are good at encouraging each other. Maybe marke your practice muslin into squares and try a different fill in each 'block'. Or try feathers, or mark a whole row and practice a pantograph (they are not my cup of tea, and I find them difficult, but you might really like them). Either way, get creative and post pics. We really will encourage you along!!
