  1. Hi Irene. I'll be there also. I have my SIL with me. We are both excited to meet you and everyone else. I can't believe we are leaving in the morning. I'm soooo excited. :D:D
  2. Gorgeous sunset. Too bad a volcano erupted to give such a beautiful sight. I guess it shows how good things can come out of disaster. Thanks for sharing.
  3. I guess I need to pay more attention to the dates things are posted. :D:D
  4. I've had one for about 4 years and love it. I do periodically have problems with it "spitting" H2O but love how I can use it on anything. I have a Bonash ironing cover on my pool table and it doesn't burn anything. I guess what I really like is how it stays hot instead of having an automatic off switch that turns itself off. I do only use distilled H2O in it and I still get the spitting. Oh well...
  5. I still don't understand why there is such a price difference. I agree with Cheri. I don't think it is right that new buyers only have to pay $1000 and current owners have to pay $3000. I can't see how it should cost that much more to upgrade. From what I can tell it sounds like an easy upgrade. I'm hoping someone at the Paducah show can explain it to me.
  6. Wow!!! That is fantastic. Congratulations Claudia. They both are gorgeous!
  7. Congratulations Claudia and Heidi. You both should do the happy dance:D:D:D
  8. Wow! That is incredible. Thanks for sharing. You should be proud:)
  9. Happy Birthday Bonnie. We all appreciate your posts. Hope you have/had a great day:)
  10. Love the pics Claudia. Can't wait to see what you have to show us at MQS:):)
  11. Gorgeous quilting Julie:) I can't remember if I thanked you for hosting "gadget day" again. Had another wonderful time at your beautiful home. How many days until retirement???? Must be coming up pretty soon.
  12. Welcome to the forum Nancy and congrates on your new Millie. You will love her;);). I use a lot of bottom line as I also just quilt for me and am still learning. It is a thin thread that doesn't show a lot of mistakes. This forum is fabulous. If you have a question or problem someone will jump right in with an answer. Everyone is very helpful to us newbies:) People from all over the world use this forum and they are very knowledgeable. So don't hesitate to use this wonderful resource.
  13. This is GREAT news:):). Do you know if you will have any specials during MQS? I'm really leaning toward your product.
  14. Linda, have you thought about coming to MQS in Kansas City in May? I think both companies will be there. I am also trying to decide which one to buy. Mary Beth swears by her CL and demo'd it in Nebraska at the Midwest Quilters Gadget Day at Julie's house. It is very easy to use. I would like to put my hands on the QZ to see how it compares. Anyway, just a thought.
  15. My husband used my Hartley Fence and my Singer Featherweight to put my zippers on. Mine also zip from L to R. He just slid the fence along the table and stitched with the Featherweight. It looked funny but it worked great:D:D:D
  16. If you are driving I suggest the Quilters Travel Companion. I've used mine so much it is falling apart:D:D:D. I think a new one will be coming out this year. They come out every 2 years. Anyway, if you don't have one you might ask around and borrow one for the trip. Welcome to the forum. Wow, 3 years??? Glad you decided to come out to play.
  17. What wonderful news:):) So glad you are all home. Have a wonderful Easter. Would Sven qualify for an insulin pump? Everyone I know who has one loves them. It really helps regulate blood sugars. He may be too young for one yet. Anyway, God does hear our prayers and we are greatful that your son is home safe and sound.
  18. I don't know about the 440 but I use my Artista 200 bobbins in my Millie and they work fine.
  19. Thanks for posting this Lisa. Prayers winging your way Kristina for a quick recovery for your son Sven. Know you have many people praying for you and your family.
  20. So sorry to hear this sad news. Thank heaven they are alive. Prayers winging your way.
  21. I'm with Madie, I like to lick the beaters also.
  22. She is a cutie! They really do grow up too fast. Seems like yesterday my two girls were in a bath just like that one. I miss having little ones around the house.
