  1. I am so sad for you. You are in my prayers. Bless you for donating her organs. Your gift will help others to live. You will have many good memories of her and that is so helpful in the days to come. The good memories will always be with you.
  2. Very Nice. I am glad it is picking up threads and they are not pokies. I use a lint roller pick-up on the quilts before I give them back to the owner. Flannel seems to plick up everything around it. It is like a magnet. You did a great job!!
  3. I did just what you are planning to do. I just finished two tree skirts. I pinned them well all around the edges, machine basted and quilted. The two I did had stars on the tips so were pointed on the tips. I started in the center and worked my way out. I did allover in the center, a wreath in the stars, and on the red border I did hollly leaves & berries. It all went very smoothly. I am sure you are on the right track. Have fun..
  4. Linda, thank you so much. I copied this and will be sure to print and put in near my machine. You're great. Thanks, Janice
  5. I started a 4-patch posie quilt with this but I would like to make it larger. It is made by Michelle Blackhurst for Chanteclaire . I would like two yards but would settle for one. Anyone know where I culd find it. Thanks much. Janice
  6. Beautiful, you have been a busy girl. Very nice.
  7. The bearding is not your fault. I did a charity quilt for our group that sends to the soldiers. The group gave me batting and backing. I had bearding all over the back. I refused to use the backing again but did use the batting. Several others used the backing and their quilts were also bearded. They decided to use the remaining fabric for piecing but not for backing... I am so sorry this happened. I feel badly for you. I am positive this is not your fault. I wish there was a nice simple answer for you. Best of luck to you. Janice
  8. WOW!! It is beautiful. I am greatly impressed. I sometimes block by putting a sheet on my carpeting, spray both sides of the quilt with water, square it up and pin it to the carpet. After a couple of days. I flip the quilt and repin. I, also, put a fan on it after the first day.
  9. It is sooooooo cute. I would love to have one like it! I am sure whatever you do it will only enhance the great quilt.

  12. I have a Hartley Fence I would be willing to sell. I use it on a Freedom with a 12' table. I don't know anything about the Bliss table but if you find out it will fit and still want to buy one, let me know. Janice
  13. Has anyone used a good blade sharpener for rotary cutter blades? I have lots of dull blades and would like to find a way to sharpen them. Thanks, Janice
  14. Thank you so much for answering this problem. I thought I was the only one having a problem with the last foot or so of the quilt. I was on my way to check on how I can make sure the end of the quilt is nice and square. Jan
  15. I grabbed a red gel pen from my box and drew a design on my fabric. One of the fabrics was red (only wanted a light marking) the other fabric gray and other black. I just made a few marks. I ironed the marks. The marks turned white on all of the fabrics. I ironed again with the same results. I let them cool and applied water. The marks disappeared on the red and black fabric but the white marks remained on the gray fabric. I , fortunately, did a very small amount of marking on the quilt. I then tried more marks on a sample of the grey. l have enclosed a picture of the grey. It has b
