  1. Since I set this machine up myself with no manual at all, I'm curious if the plug from the handle is in the correct location. I have the IQ system on this machine too so that is what the other plug is. Do your handles plug in the same as mine?
  2. Sharon, how were you able to figure out that it was one of the rear handles?
  3. I called and of course they aren't open until Monday morning. I think I'm going to try taking the handles apart and see if there are any bad connectors there and try what Sharon Deming suggested. I was so looking forward to using my new Millie today and actually quilting a quilt or two.
  4. I have had an APQS machine for over 17 years. An old Millineium (I think it was a 2001) that I sold about 4 years ago. A Freedom (I think 2007) that I still own, and a new to me 2013 Millie. I have no idea how to use this new Millie. I can't find any training videos. My old machines didn't have the digital front, they are all operated via the 4 buttons on the handles. I am ready to begin quilting because I finally received the final missing parts (just the red snappers) so I can now load a quilt. However, when I turned the machine on it just keeps running. I mean, the needle won't stop running. I tried the buttons on the handles and they aren't stopping it. I tried turning the stitch regulator button off and that just made it run super fast. How do I make it stop stitching? To help me more, are there actual training videos I can watch? It didn't come with any manual.
  5. Still checking on what I can do or not do with the IQ system I currently own in Wisconsin. Didn't get the answer I was hoping for yesterday.
  6. Beata, I live in Daytona Beach in the winters, October-May. I have a longarm up north in Wisconsin and quilt for customers all summer. I am looking to set up a business down in Daytona too. I don't head back south until October but in the mean time I am searching for the right set up for down there. I have a question out to my Intelliquilter community right now. Depending on the answer from there, I am very interested in your machine. I had a Millennium and sold it (still kicking myself in the butt for that). I didn't think I wanted to actually quilt while I was in FL, just take it easy. But turns out I miss quilting more than I thought I would. Hoping to hear back from Intelliquilter soon. I'll contact you again. Mindy
  7. Just wanted to show everyone my new thread shelves. They were very inexpensive, $5.49 per shelf plus about 50 cents for the dowels to hold the bobbins. Each shelf holds 16 cones across, two deep. I added tiny dowels in front of each cone to hold the extra bobbins. I could, and may, put the shelves a little closer together and add a 6th shelf. I painted them red to match my new painted stairs. So far I love them.. I had the cone storage racks but always had to be very careful taking the cones off so I wouldn't knock off other cones.
