  1. Barb, if you don't have anyone to take care of the APQS table, get it moved up by the VOLUNTEER Desk and I will help with it.. and when all these quilting ladies come by to sign the board, they can stop by my desk and sign up to volunteer also!!!! still can't believe you aren't coming... you and Linda T... how will I manage without the both of you???
  2. can't wait to see all of you again!!! seems like it has been a LONG year!!! Myrna, first thing on my list is hugs from you!!!
  3. Update The funeral for my son was today. So glad it is over. Thank you to everyone for your prayers, emails, and kind words!! Please continue to pray for us. The healing process is just now beginning. We are all drained. Time to head for bed and sleep for a month. Or at least until after 6:30 am RIP in peace my son. (April, thanks for the article you mailed)
  4. Heidi and Dory, wish I could be there also to hear you speak. Sometimes we piecers need to be reminded what it is you want/expect from us. Heidi, it does sound like you have it together. Just don't stress. What's the worst they can do to you? Fire you??? That gives you more time to quilt!!
  5. Thank you so much to everyone. Your prayers have been felt today. I went to see the car (I know, I probably shouldn't have, but I needed to). Then I went to the site of the wreck. (see above parentheses). There was no way he could have lived a "normal" life if he had survived the crash. God now has Chris in his arms. He has joined the host of heavenly angels singing praise to our Great Lord and Savior!!!! In a way I envy Chris. I wanted to be there waiting for him to join me, but God had other plans. God pour His blessings down on all of you!! What a great group of friends I have here. I went
  6. I desperately need your prayers!! My son was killed in a car wreck this afternoon. He leaves behind 2 sons and a daughter and a loving wife.
  7. Can I put in my 2 cents worth, as a piecer?? I don't exactly have the answer for the mispelled word, but, when I send my quilt to a quilter and they find a mistake, I would want them to tell me. Either before so I could fix it, or later so I would know not to make the same mistake twice. One of the reasons I take my quilts to my sister to be quilted is because I KNOW she will point out how inept I am at what I do. I am afraid someone else might just laugh behind my back.. no sermon, just from this side of the quilt (so to speak).

  9. Go into Webshots....upload your picture to that program....once you upload it....click on the photo itself and it takes you to another screen...over to the right it gives you three choices....one of which is "OTHER SIZES." Click on it and use the 100 dpi. Right click the "DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE"....copy that...go to your APQS profile and start a new thread.....right click and paste....post that.....go back into your edit profile and paste the same into the AVATAR URL box.....go completely out of it and back into it and post something...your picture will be to the left. Let me know if you have
  10. I have the directions here to add the pic, but I am having trouble also. Do a search for Bonnie Botts, she has instructions for adding. They sound simple, it is just my brain that doesn't work that way. Let me know!!
  11. Shar, trying to get this as my avatar, Don't think I have it right, yet. Thanks for the compliment. Quilt was made by yours truly!!
