I have used Sure Clean, available at Sally's Beauty Supply, to remove excess spray adhesive used for machine embroidery. I put the Sure Clean on q-tips or cotton pads and wipe until all adhesive is gone. It did not leave a ring, but do a test. The Sure Clean is used to clean hot wax machines.

Thank you Sharon, I appreciate the info and kind words.  I did 27 years in the Navy and loved every minute of it.  Our National Anthem still brings tears to my eyes.

Look what I got to quilt!  It's a pink themed Halloween quilt, to display at our local hospital during the month of October.  Pink because it's breast cancer awareness month.  The Jackson Hole Quilt Guild rotates a quilt display every month at our local hospital.  The nurses and patients really appreciate it.  We've had a hard time in years past trying to find a pink quilt for the October display.  So we had the bright idea to make a quilt just for that.  Different people made the applique blocks, others sewed them together with sashing and border.  I quilted it, and just handed it off to another member to attach the binding.  A terrific collaboration.
Last May I took a few classes from Judi Madsen in Salt Lake City.  I just LOVE her work.  So, you will see that she inspired this quilting.
The bat bra block is the one that really got me started with the quilt designs.  The lady who made it drew a spider in a web on the cleavage, so clever and so easy to quilt that design!
Judi had just posted an applique quilt that she'd finished that had bugs in it.  She gave the bugs motion by quilting a swirly design under them.  I thought the ghosts need that swirly design too.  Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?!
I used a wool batting, glide thread with magna glide bobbins.  Love those magna glide bobbins!  Angela Huffman is a great source for them and her delivery is super fast.
    Thanks for looking!

Just off my quilt frame this week, "Surf Song" bargello.  From the book Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts by Eileen Wright.  Needed a king size quilt for my bed and instead of adding borders to make a king sized "Surf Song" I kept building the bargello to the edges.  I quilted it with IQ and the panto Ripples by Lorien Quilting.  I will make coordinating batik pillowcases and of course still need to bind the beast!!

I finished this quilt recently for a client.  She absolutely loved the way it turned out.  It's great when the pieces fall together and the client celebrates the job with you!!!

I finished my Petit Fours quilt last night! I'm very pleased with how it turned out. It's a layer cake/jelly roll pattern from Hummingbird Highway.  I tried a new binding technique that was shown at our last quilt guild meeting and just LOVE the effect it has on the quilt. It's a flange binding which gives it the piping detail look. Very easy to do and I think it gives this quilt a 'Tuxedo' look to it.

This small quilt is a gift for a new mom to be's baby shower next weekend. I've known this lady for about 25 years since she was about 12. It took her a long time to meet Mr Right and now they are expecting their first - a little boy. This pattern is a MSQC and is in the tutorials. 2 charm packs used with poly blend batt and glide threads.

What a fabulous studio and so well organized. It looks like a wonderful place to spend the day. I always tell people that my studio is a work room, not a show room. That's my excuse for clutter and I'm sticking to it.

Marti, yes the 15 is the larger swirls.  I read your second posting and it shows 12 so I thought you had the 12" but I see later you indicated they are 15".  I believe the Circle Lord Swirlz is the most popular board and I am sure someone will come along and buy the boards.  However, if you are quilting for others you might consider keeping it and purchasing the boards from Michael that you want and using his easy no interest payment plan. Swirlz looks fabulous on a lot of quilts!

I think that asking $215 for the Queen-1/2 12" Swirlz boards is fair and it is a 28% discount off the retail price.  I think that you are in the midst of a summer time slow down and that is why you have not gotten any interest.  Even though you have used the boards a couple of times they do not wear out and they would still be in like-new condition.

The smaller swirls this board makes are great for twin, lap and baby quilts so even those with the larger machines, such as Millie, could use the board.  And of course it would be perfect for use with the smaller machines, such as Lenni.   If you are not in a hurry to sell you might let a few weeks pass and then advertise again.
