I'm so sorry you had to go through this and that it ended up in court. I feel very fortunate in having good paying customers up until yesterday. I won't go into details, but let's just say I won't be doing any more work on her quilt until pre-payment is made in good faith.

Cute quilt-great quilting--love it! The echo around the bunnies is wonderful.
Question--when do you sleep?
Thanks. I often ask myself the same question. That's one thing I'm working on in 2013...scheduling customer quilts. Sigh.

Cindy, that is really cute! I love how you quilted it...what is the name of the pattern if you don't mind sharing? Thanks!
Vicki, I would share if I knew, but it belongs to a customer. I did forget to mention she said this was her 1st! I was impressed!! I know the local quilt shop that closed last summer sold them as kits about 3 years or so ago.

I find myself doing quite a few embroidery quilts lately for some reason. This cute little bunny quilt is the 2nd one I've done. I tried to keep it simple, but she wanted it to be used decorately instead of for her grandbaby to actually use it so I could quilt is tighter than I normally would a quilt that will be used by the youngster. Quarter inch echoing in the blocks, SID around the blocks, something featherish in the outside border and a simple sashing treatment. You know, cute quilts are just fun to quilt! Thanks for looking.

Jess, so glad to see you posting again! That is one gorgeous quilting job and quilt! Going in my favorites or whatever we call it now!

Well, don't take my advice as those in this area charge only .15 per linear inch to do machine binding to front and back.

The name of mine came when I was in the Harley shop with DH talking to a friend. I was having a bad hair day so I had a ballcap on. So did our friend. Then he started talking about how he was a chrome top, and I had to ask since I'd never heard that phrase before. He took his hat off only to find his hair color matched mine (I was originally thinking chrome for motorcycle and car parts so I didn't put two and two together). I got that lightbulb moment, looked at DH and told him that was going to be the name of my business when I decided to start it. Hence, Chrome Top Quilts, and the "quilts" can either be a verb or a noun. Mine was silly, too, but it worked. It's fun when people ask me what the name means and all I have to do is point to my hair! Then they nod.
Just let your imagination go and don't stress about it.
