I have the bliss rails on my Lenni and in my opinion it’s worth every penny. It’s so smooth and makes moving the machine practically effortless. I haven’t quilted an entire quilt on a non blissed Lenni but I did test drive one. That was years ago and the non blissed table has probably improved but back then it was like night and day. If I ever buy a newer machine I would absolutely, 100%, get the bliss table again.

I don’t think I’d drill holes in the legs. Also it seems like the batting rolls would stick out and get in your way. Could you loop a nylon strap over the leg and hang a batting bar?

Where is this machine located?
Thanks,

My machine is on laminate flooring over concrete floors. I've had the snap together mats and I've had the by-the-yard mats from Lowes. I've been thinking about buying one of the gel filled chef's mats from Bed Bath and Beyond. They're expensive but it sure would be wonderful to quilt for longer stretches of time and not have aching legs and knees. Anyone have a gel filled mat??

Virginia,
I agree, Barb is pretty amazing and APQS is lucky to have her. Some time this next summer I’m going to take a little road trip to see Barb. I have an older Lenni that I love but I’d like to test drive a few of the newer machines.
I’m sorry about your husband. And then to leave your home and move 1/2 way across the country is a huge upset. I hope your quilting brings you joy.
