  1. Just to let everyone one know we still stock supplies for your APQS machines. We have been able to hold the prices for some time but no guarnties for the future. If you order soon we can supply at the listed prices. Thanks all, We are still an authorized Hartley dealer and can supply all your Hartley products needs. Of course we still represent CompuQuilter.
  2. Debi: I misspoke we carry the aluminum with the notch. I have never seen a steel one with the notch and am planning on discussing this with Mark tomorrow. The steel ones we carry are the ones we have always carried and we have sold many of them with no issues. This is the bobbin we used in our Millenniums in our studio for years. After I talk to Mark I will re-post his comments. When APQS switched to aluminum we kept using the steel ones. I think 9 Bobbin cases and 100 steel bobbins are a great buy.
  3. We are once again running a special on Bobbin Cases and Steel Bobbins. 9 Bobbin Cases and 100 Steel Bobbins for $35.00 or 100 Steel Bobbins for $15. Plus actual shipping cost.
  4. The Hartley Fence is sold and gone to a new home. Thanks for looking.
  5. We have been in business since 1996 without a break. We will again be a Bronze sponsor (Junior non computerized) at MQS in 2012, say hi to Mary (if you can get her to stop for a minute) or Janet. I just have not been posting on the chat. I thought that many APQS owners would want to buy needles, bobbins and bobbin cases for a great price with no handling charges (we only charge exact shipping costs and we pay for the packaging). Thanks to the APQS owners who have contacted us with orders and we look forward to re-connecting with our APQS friends. You can call me directly at 816-686-7636.

  16. The new proud owner of this great Liberty picked it up today and was thrilled with it (It is like new in every way). I'm sure she will be happy with it. Thanks for all the emails we received expressing interest after the price reduction. 17. Hopping foot height should be .030 inch. I use a feeler gage. (From an auto parts store or store that sells tools.) This way you don't have to worry about the thickness of business cards which vary. I may address this issue in my next column in "On Track" magazine. All IMQS members receive it with their membership. www.imqa.org For you that do not know I write a Tech. article every other issue. John
  18. Place the needle bar in the lowest position (the hopping foot will be in the lowest position also) and use the hole you described only newer machines have the cap. The screw that holds the hopping foot in place is not straight in but at a bit of an angle. It is a challenge but possible. When we were dealers several of the dealers complained that it was hard to adjust, than the hole was made larger and capped with a plastic plug. Use a flashlight to view through the hole to see the position of the slot in the screw. You will need a good quality sharp flat bladed screwdriver that fits the
  19. My client has reduced the price on her Liberty to $8000 including shipping in Cont. USA or delivery and professional setup within 100 Miles of Lee's Summit. This price is far less than a Lenni and you get all the extras.

If you use steel bobbins I have a special now, buy 10 bobbin cases for $40 and get 100 steel bobbins free. Plus actual shipping. This is a $150 value. The Aluminum bobbins are $35/100. John
