  1. Would so love to show it to you Kathy!!! And the super sized ironing table is so amazing!
  2. So I have been very busy lately. If you follow me on FB or IG you will know the following. We moved both our stores together to one new location! We started Dec. 26 and opened Jan. 6, one week ahead of our self imposed opening day. We are very tired but it is a good tired! As you may remember my Longarm was in our classroom. Now I have my own space!!!!!! I am thrilled with my new space! Not only that we added Quilt Path to my 2009 Millennium and added a new Milli!!! I have a new assistant, Sabrina, who introduced herself here earlier today with the handle Fried Green Tomatoes. Sabrina will be helping me with all sorts of things as well as running Quilt Path. She is young, and catches on to computer stuff very fast. 3. My favourite thread is Marathon thread. It seems few have heard of it. We stock it in our store for our Pfaff and Janome Embroidery machines. It is lovely, but inexpensive. I tried it on impulse one day and loved it. Very similar to glide. I too have bad luck with King Tut, especially during our dry winters. I have mostly used prewound bobbins, both Sew Bobs and Magna Glides. I am currently using up my stock and going back to winding my own. Seems I have better luck with my own....
  4. I use Hobbs Washable wool and have tested it. Made small practice piece, washed in washing machine on delicate and air dried. Everything was fine so then I repeated, still fine. Packaging does say do NOT dry in dryer...
  5. great to see your quilts, thanks for picking up my challenge! And they are very fine quilts indeed! Course Bargello is one of my favs....love the curved cross hatching!
  6. Love the ribbon candy in the compass arms! Great work!
  7. Wow, love the changes, but lots to learn!.......

  8. Very nice!!! You will love working in this space! Have fun....
  9. I had a long anti-fatique mat and loved it until I got my saddle-stool, I much prefer the stool!
  10. I'm far to lazy for Bubble Jet Set! I use Printed Treasures and love the high thread count and colorfastness(? is that a word?) of these sheets. I tested the colorfastness by printing the same photo twice and then washing one of these five times. It looked exactily the same as the one not washed. We sell these in our store and the same customers keep coming back for more.
  11. Ditto to all the advice to try different machines. I have yet to talk to someone who is unhappy with whatever their choice was. I think that there are several reasons for that is both machines in question are very good machines and both have great things about them. After we pay for them of course we are going to think our choice is the best choice! I think we also almost bond with our machines! Oh no this is getting too sappy...
