  1. Does anyone know of a service/repair person who can work on Minnennium machines in the San Francisco Bay Area?
  2. Where do you qet reasonable insurance to cover longarm business? Does this insurance cover you if you damage a customer quilt? Since I do business out of my home do I need sperate insurance other then my homeowners? All these thing for doing business at home
  3. Not sure what to expect with the self install. Are the insturctions easy to follow? Sure hope so. Any pointers or problems I should watch out for?
  4. What's the best brand of needles for a millennium? I like to use bottom line or so fine thread in my machine. I find that the machine is dropping a stitch when I go to the right or in a circle... tension seems to be fine otherwise. Is there a multi directional needle that won't flex so much?
  5. I've had the machine since June.. bought it used, I think it was services just before I got it... I don't quilt everyday, how will I know when it needs to be greased...
  6. Is there a pattern out there for this quilt, its beautiful ... love all the colors...

  10. Hi Julia I'm located in Antioch, CA, just east of San Francisco about 45 mile. I'm sure if I go online and search I could find some in my area.
  11. I just got a APQS Millennium, I was lucky to find a person close to me who had to sell her's (good for me, not so for her). I've had the machine about 4 weeks and have only finished one baby quilt for our local Quilt guild. Great place to get tops and for lots of practice. I'd loved to take actual classes somewhere so I could learn what I should be doing. I've actually learned some things by reading the forum and watching demo's on YouTube.
  12. I'm using warm and natural and know that the top side is the side that has flakes of seeds etc., when quilting do out put the top side down towards the back or towards the top of the quilt to prevent pokies on the back side? I'm new to LA and have always had my quilts done by professionals. The Warm company site didn't say which way to sandwich the batting.. Thanks for any incite...
  13. I new to longarm quilting and I want to order some bobbins form my Milli.. which is best, aluminum or metal?
  14. Thank you all... I read post from Shana and I loosened the bobbin and tightened the top just a little, also changed out the bobbin. Wow.... I'm running two different colors and can hardly tell.... now I hope that I can remember what I did with the old bobbin so I don't use it again:D!
