Sylvia, do you buy those scissors online, or is there someone locally who carries them?

Pat, if you're just talking about snipping threads, I use a pair of small curved scissors, for both quilting and embroidery. The curved blade lets me get close to the top without cutting anything I don't intend to cut. I'm sure others will have their preferences as well. Good luck finding what works for you.
