  1. If you are on Facebook, ask to join the Quilt Path users group. There are a lot of knowledgeable people in that group. Sorry I can't be of more help - I don't have Quilt Path. Betsy
  2. Deanh, are you talking aoutt a problem in Quilt Path or another computer program? You'll get better advice if you give a bit more information. Also, if it's Quilt Path, there is a private Facebook Quilt Path group that is very active. You have to ask to join (I'm not a member because I don't have QP), but it would give you another location for help. Good luck! Betsy
  3. Hi Sharon, I do not have QP myself, but I do know that there is an active QP group on Facebook. It is a closed group, so you have to ask to join, but from what I've heard, it is very welcoming and helpful. I believe Barbara Mayfield is one of the administrators, and she is also an APQS dealer. Your charity group sounds lovely, and I wish you the best of luck in getting the information you need and with your "new" machine. Betsy
  4. Looks great! I would also like to see what the others did with their blocks! If you click on the "Activity" tab at the top left, you can look for posts you started, and possibly find your original post, which should show the date you are looking for. Good luck!
  5. Before making any offers, potential buyers will likely want to see pictures and know the age of the frame. Good luck with your sale.
  6. If you are on Facebook, you can ask to join the QP users group. It is a closed group for QP users only, so I am not a member, but from other posts I have seen on the We Love APQS page, the group is very helpful.
  7. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your sale will be much easier with pictures, a price, the features, age, and model of the machine, etc.. Best of luck in your sale.
  8. So glad you got your machine working properly! Your quilting looks beautiful to me!
  9. I have a Freedom (now called Freddie) without a bobbin thread cutter, and I have never missed it. As Nigel says, pulling the bobbin thread up and cutting it with the top thread is easy peasy. And as my husband says about everything, the more features there are, the more things there are to go wrong.
  10. So sorry, Helen. Hopefully you will be quilting on your Lenni very soon.
  11. Sue, I believe the lifetime warranty is only for the original owner. That being said, APQS service people are very helpful.
  12. Sorry I am unable to give you the advice you need. However, if you are on Facebook, I suggest joining the We Love APQS group. There are a lot of very knowledgeable users there, and you may very well get a faster response there than here. Good luck!
  13. Helen, I am so happy the source of your issue has been determined and will be corrected very soon!!
  14. SueD, I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the Bliss system, and have no insight about your wheel position. Have you e-mailed APQS specifically about how to adjust the wheels?
  15. So sorry you are having such difficulty getting your machine to work properly. I hope everything is resolved very soon.
  16. Bonney, there is a Quilt Path users group on Facebook that may be able to help you sooner than the forum. Good luck!
  17. Lora, glad you finally got everything you paid for. I definitely understand your hesitation about posting on her page, even though you are only posting the truth. It is a tough decision. Have you considered posting this information on a quilting group page, or possibly opening a discussion on one of those pages asking if others have had poor service from her? No one likes to hear that they have made a mistake, but she seems very defensive about having her mistakes brought to her attention. It's likely that you are not the only one.
  18. Lora, if you used PayPal, I think you can dispute the charge. This might be true of regular credit card payments, too.
  19. Very unpleasant. I am sorry you had this experience. Does she have a Facebook page, or another way you could share this with other customers, to see if they have had the same problem?
  20. Pat, Adding pictures and more information will help you sell your machine. Age, whether used for a business or just personal use, motorized fabric advance, additional items that are included, reason for selling, etc., are all things buyers will want to know. Best of luck in your sale. Betsy
  21. After the WD-40, be sure to wipe out the area and apply sewing machine oil in the normal oiling fashion. Please let us know what happens. Good luck!
  22. I don't, but I think it's just a matter of personal preference. I do put it on when I am marking something on the quilt, even if I will not be using rulers to stitch that area.
