  1. I am posting this for a man from Callicoon, NY. His wife passed away earlier this year and he is selling her 1999 Ultimate II Serial Number 1652. 12 Foot Table, Hartley Fence, several stencils/pantos. He also has pictures of the set up. $2,500 Contact : Mike at ducey9291@gmail.com
  2. I should have been more clear - I'm curious about what the cost to have it sent out for service - "spa" treatment. Would the Ultimate 2 fit on the Lenni STEEL table? thanks again
  3. Hi - hope someone can tell me about how much to have a head gone over /checked. Also, is the Lenni Steel table still available?? If not is there a table that the Ultimate II with vertical wheels will work on?? thanks in advance.
  4. Has anyone used one of these for Drunkard's Path or any curved piecing? It is supposed to make joining curved pieces a "breeze" & without pinning..... Is it True???
  5. I appreciate all your input!! I hope to be reserved in judgement -- and able to make a educated decision when I go look at the Ultimate. I hope to luck out on the frame design and that the serial number supports the ability to add stitch reg etc. THANKS SOOOOO MUCH!!!
  6. Any Help would be great RE: Ultimate 1... going to look at AN OLD one; third owner. I have reviewed threads about what to look for - regarding table sturdiness, thread guides, needle bar and such... about how much for a Spa treatment/Is it even necessary if well maintained?? Can this machine have stitch regulation added? Can it sit on ANY table or is it married to the huge one it is on?? I wouldn't be able to go larger than 12' (though 10 ft would be best). Not sure where I should spend my $$... starter or just wait a bit longer.... like I said, any help would be great. tia

  8. Jean - I emailed you info from my Hotmail account. thanks a bunch! ami
  9. Thanks for all your offers! I appreciate it - Antoinette - you are the closest by far. I'm southeast of Middletown. I was hoping to find someone from CT to watch quilt - not necessarily a rep. Travelling three hours or more isn't exactly beneficial when I might need troubleshooting assistance. I just want to be that fly on the wall for a while after a test drive... I have been hearing good things about APQS... I have heard good about others too. In Colchester there is a women with a few Super Dooper Gammill's - her studio rivals her home!!! But classes are VERY expensive - I would rather put the $$ towards purchase rather than to spend $hundreds just to try it out as a rental. I quilt on a 1945 Singer 15-91. I am self taught - and I never intend to do more than make quilts for family friends and donations.... Not looking for prizes or payment.... just pleasure. Glastonbury Close to Home has a cheapo Rep Run class later this month on the Jewel which I plan to attend. I have a feeling it is like the Handiquilter.... I see the Demo sales have begun again. I may be in touch for a test drive if I can lie DH to watch the fort. THANKS A BUNCH _ do let me know if you come across anyone in CT
  10. Would love to see an APQS (even an oldie but goodie) in action.... considering purchasing used and need to see first-hand before making the plunge. There are Gammil's around and Crown Jewels but not much else.... any help would be great - thanks in advance
