Posting for a friend, I have not seen this machine in person as it is located 300 miles from me. This is an estate sale, the quilter has passed away. She collected many sewing machines and I sold 12 Vintage Singers that were all in great condition. I am assuming this Gammill is dusty, but ready to go with some cleaning and servicing. Message me if you are serious and I will put you in touch with the seller. Gammill PM8014 Classic on a 14' table with Intellistitch Regulator. Seller is not willing to ship and asks buyer to disassemble and haul. You will have to make arrangements to see this machine in person. She was in running condition when quilter fell ill. $4,000 firm.

You will receive the allen wrench with your purchase. The feet are changeable, you can buy a set or individually, I love mine.

Sew Tweet, a pattern by Chitter Chatter Designs. I hand appliqued and embroidered the blocks in 2014; along with completing the top. Finally this year, I free motion quilted it on my Mille. This was a very fun project began by me and Lisa E. in 2014. It was my first attempt at embroidery; I was so blessed my Mother used to do all my embroidery, but she has since passed away. The blue birds remind of Cinderella birdies!!

A lot of quilters use a saddle stool. You can do a search on this forum for a lot of information on them and also search the internet or Amazon.com for them. There are some in most every price range. I definitely recommend one that is adjustable in height. I don't use mine often, but love it for doing detail work.

Wow! It is beautiful; alot of movement and gorgeous colors.

MY husband retrofitted my 2005 Mille with LED lights like the newer models plus created a new, smaller light bar similar to the old one with LED's. I too, wear glasses and have no glare. I love the LED's. There is alot of information on the internet for configuring. Go for it!

I've hand appliqued many quilt tops in the vehicle and that keeps me happy when on the road. Here is a pic from Pinterest of a woman sewing in her Ford Pick up on a featherweight!

Dawn Cavanaugh quoted me $1500 over a year ago and said they would contact me if it was going to be more. I have already replaced a lot of the wear items myself so I felt It was a waste of money. I also contacted a dealer to see if they could do it and she said they could service the machines but APQS did not count it as a Spa treatment as APQS can do "more".

I use both Red Snappers and Zippers. I use RS for quick quilts; and zippers for long term quilts I may want to remove in order to quilt a different quilt. The zippers are sewn onto the leaders which are already attached to the frame. I created another "leader that is the length of my current leaders (12' frame) but is about 8" to 10" wide. I have zippers on one side and then sewed the casing on the other which the Red Snapper fits into. This allows me to not have the pressure to finish quilts I want to spend a lot of time on just to quickly quilt another that may have come up on the spur of the moment. (Sometimes the custom quilt quits speaking to me and I have to put it away until I come up with a plan, LOL) Oma is correct that the Red Snapper on the roller where you pin the top of the backing to does take up a little bit of space and can cause the back your machine to catch - My Mille's extra box for the bobbin winder hits it. I don't quilt for others and create my backs just a little bit longer in order to roll that RS behind the bar where it is out of the way. I use safety pins on my zippers; those work the best for me especially if I am taking them on and off the frame. Think about what kind of quilting you are going to do and if you think you might do some custom quilting you may want to invest in both systems at some time.
