  1. Crooked? How is it crooked? I just don't see it! That is the prettiest bargello I've seen so far. Beautiful, just beautiful.
  2. Cathey: She's adorable and I was so tickled by her using all that equipment. Was she hesitant at all? You must be a great inspiration for her! She's gonna be something when she grows up. You must be so proud of her.
  3. Is Sue still with us? Did she survive? Anybody hear how the quilt turned out? God bless her.
  4. Pat & Bill: You've been added to an extensive prayer chain here in Southern California and to our prayer group at Saddleback Church. We will continue to pray for the both of you for as long as you need. God bless you both.
  5. I have the moving men sliders under mine and it's easy to move around if I want to but not so easy to move if I don't. There's enough weight in the machine and table so it stays put. And, they don't add to the height of the machine.
  6. I just bid on one. Hope I get it. Spoke with my sister and Mom and they're both going to check it out and see if they can find "their" quilt. This is such a good cause and it is tax deductable. I cannot complain about the cost. The cause is reason enough! Happy Easter everyone. Hope you get to enjoy it with family.
  7. Check out this link. there's a paper piecing pattern for frogs: http://www.paperpanache.com/guests/amobirdfrog.htm
  8. Gosh - I haven't heard anyone on QuiltPro. I have an older version of QuiltPro and purchased a copy of EQ4 when it went on sale (just to try it out). Has anybody else used QuiltPro? And, if so, which version?
  9. I have a brother innovis, babylock elageo and a babylock intrigue. I do some embroidery on the brother (disney designs) and the rest on the elageo. However.... I do all my piecing on the intrigue. It's small, sturdy and lightweight. It's been across the country with me and to Hawaii. It has needle up/needle down, thread cutter, separate bobbin winder (you don't have to unthread the machine, loads of stitches, comes with 7 or 8 feet including a 1/4" foot, and it does embroidery. All for a very low price. I cannot find any through the dealers but I have seen a couple through e-bay for les

  11. Grammie Tammie -- congratulations to both you AND Bekah. Awesome! She's a cutie!
  12. Vicki: It says a lot about you and your Mom that you have such a good relationship. I miss my Mom but I do get to talk to her every day. She's been my rock. Don't think I could get her on a rickshaw, though -- well, maybe if she was very tired she might..... Your Mom and the tote are both beautiful. Take good care of her. They don't last forever.
  13. Check out this site: http://www.anyclean.co.uk/cleaning_tips/carpet/dry_erase_marker.htm Maybe this will help. Best of luck! But, applique would be nice....
  14. Okay, I haven't read all of the information here but I did have an experience with white cotton towels when my husband was in the hospital. I wrote his name on all of his linens because his needed to be kept separate -- but I really wanted the writing to stay on the towels. However, we found when straight alcohol was used on them, it removed some of the permanent pen. Some are only faded but two, I know, have half of his name removed -- it ain't short (Augustine) -- so..... but it happened within the first day or two. Hope you find something.
