Is there an adjustment to the stitch length setting? Mine doesn't seem to be right.............I scroll up and down, but don't seem to get much change in length.

Actually, I don't think anyone would object to paying a service call and with warranty covering any parts needed..........They don't even seem to offer that as an option..........Many of us can't or don't wish to work on our own machines..........fearing doing something to damage the machine and ruining the warranty...........having a hard time seeing or getting into a position to do maintenance, etc.............I am 70 years old and do not wish to do it and my husband is even less enthused about it.............many of us are in the same boat.........I can clean/oil my machine and those things

Knock on wood, my machine is working OK, but dread the day when it does need something............my friend went through "H"..........she bought a demo machine, but they are supposed to be all worked over and have the warranty...........I guess if you can fix it yourself with a part they might send you, you are OK, but don't ask for anyone to come to the house...........I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the Customer Service in that regard.......she even had trouble getting anyone to return her calls, emails, etc. .....We recently moved and they did give me the name of a man who would come move my mach

I wish APQS would train more field techs to come around and service our machines............not just routine maintenance, but troubleshooting problems...........a friend just spent MONTHS dealing with her 2014 demo machine trying to get it to work right.............no one would come to her house to check it out............kept trying to 'FIX IT' by email and phone calls with no results other than more frustration for her............she was finally forced to trade it off for a brand new machine - just to get something that works............she SERIOUSLY considered buying another brand.........A

Casters on table and wood floors
GMALKB replied to Sheri Butler's topic in Gone Quilting...Chat About Anything
Another topic I'm glad to see...........I will have laminate flooring in my new sewing room...........I ordered the castors for my machine and will have them installed when the machine gets moved to the new house............I didn't think about vibration, but as mentioned, small carpet squares or maybe some of that shelf liner fabric would help.........a friend just got a new sewing room built with laminate flooring, but never said anything about vibration or the machine moving..........I have a 12' table and Millenium. -
Thanks.........great ideas...........think I have a plan...........I will have a nice closet in my new room and planning it with a section for the pattern boards........I hoped to store them vertically .......... looked and looked online for shelf dividers of some kind..............finally came on the idea to use spring tension curtain rods between the top and bottom of the space........they will stand vertical..........two rods about 6" apart...........then skip about 6" and two more rods, etc..........In my mind, this will work...........will see how it really works when I get to that point.

How do you quilters store your pattern boards? We are building a new home and I will have a nice quilt studio with a big closet...........looking for ideas of storing pattern boards so they are easy to see and pull out as needed..............any suggestions? Linda

We have made the decision to sell our home and 4 acres and move to town ! We are building an "older age friendly" home that will be all on one floor..........no steps (that we have to use), wide hallways, doorways, pull bars in the bathroom, etc.............neither of us are to that point yet, but after having my Mom out and in her wheelchair, we saw the writing on the wall...........We are both 68 and time is marching on way too fast............anyway, the BEST part is I will have a 17 ' x 30' Quilting Studio ! Everything will be in one big room with lots of storage, drawers, cabinets,

OK..........I was curious, so went on their website and added 10 small spools to my cart............got the message $50 minimum order...........I swore it was $35.00 before............$50 is better, but not great if you only want a couple things.
-
That must be something new...........I just ordered some bobbins not that long ago and it was a $35.00 minimum.
-
I've used it in my DSM, but not my long arm.

A friend has had an Ultimate II machine for almosst 20 years and only had the timing adjusted once.............she has quilted hundreds of quilts...........your machine definitely has problems.............Did you buy it privately from an individual? Maybe that's why THEY sold it............
