Quiltez Baptist Fan Template for sale
Thread Runner replied to beestitched's topic in Gone Quilting...Chat About Anything
Hi There- Any idea how much shipping would be to WA state? -
I bought those Harbor Freight ones to try, and they are DULL. They say they are for cutting carpet, and I guess they would cut something coarse like burlap, but not my soft quilting cottons.

Great Price. I paid $3000 for this same machine set up 5 years ago in the Pacific North West. -

Does anybody use monofilament thread? I have a HUGE spool of it, probably about 8 inches high by 5 inches in diameter. It has a cover thing on it so it doesn't unwind and get tangled on your longarm. If anybody wants it, you can have it. I am not sure what it would cost to ship, I could probably put it in a one rate box or tyvek envelope for $5 or so.

I just got a new to me Ultimate 2 about 2 months ago. I LOVE IT!!! However, I bought it from a lady in her mid 70's who liked to quilt with fishline. YUCK. I couldn't get the machine to do diddly squat. That is why I am married to an Engineer! My hubby looked up all the info online, cleaned up the burrs in the bobbin, retimed it several times, and took apart the tension assembly and put it back together the RIGHT way (it had been wrong) and now it quilts like a dream. I had a mid arm for 5 or 6 years, so that helped me learn about troubleshooting with tension and thread issues.
