Look what I got to quilt! It's a pink themed Halloween quilt, to display at our local hospital during the month of October. Pink because it's breast cancer awareness month. The Jackson Hole Quilt Guild rotates a quilt display every month at our local hospital. The nurses and patients really appreciate it. We've had a hard time in years past trying to find a pink quilt for the October display. So we had the bright idea to make a quilt just for that. Hi. Anyone love their "regular" sewing machine? I would love to hear your recommendations. Obviously I don't need it for quilting...use the longarm for that.... but I am upgrading from my mechanical Bernina 1008 which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! But I want some decorative stitches for applique, an automatic needle threader, knee lift etc. Some of the fun stuff to make life just a tad easier. I don't need embroidery functions but won't rule out a machine if it has that. I have tested out some baby locks and Berninas and they are so much faster and the baby lock so much quieter than what I have.

He's a Champagne Burmese. The pattern was a Siamese cat with blue eyes and a blue background. Since Indy has gold/green eyes a

ive got a quilt that has blocks that are not square, mismatched sashing seams by over an inch, really wavy borders and the blocks have appliqued flowers. Sashing seam widths vary by an inch, too. Should i do an overall panto or go ahead and customize it with something really quick? My instructions are to do whatever it takes to make it look good. And i have a white backing! Any suggestions?
