  1. I purchased an IQ system last fall and wanted to hold on to my Circle Lord Boards until I was 100% sure that I loved the IQ. I've loved these CL Boards, they helped me whip through all over quilts and save enough to move up to the IQ. However, I've run out of space and they need to find a new loving home. They are coming from a non smoking home, but I do have pets. These boards are made of a durable plastic like polymer so there shouldn't be any problems, you could spray them with a hose if you're worried but my dogs could care less about htem. Other than a few pencil marks or numbering on the smaller templates, they are just like new. I would prefer to sell them all as a set. I live in Southwest Virginia and am willing to drive and/or meet someone up to 5 hours to deliver. That basically includes a radius to Nashville TN, Atlanta GA, Charlotte, NC and/or Washington DC to give you a clue - all of which are fun places to visit since I really miss living in the city. Pricing is first - photos following. You can reach me at jlaidlaw@kaboodles.com or 276-477-4196 Giant templates - I'm asking $1750 for all 10 of them. Shipping will have to be calculated based on your location. Retail at $3390 plus shipping from Canada Design templates $275 including shipping within contiguous US (not Alaska or HI) retail $529 plus CAN shipping. APQS Stylus & bracket for rear $55 including shipping within contiguous US (not Alaska or HI) retail $89 plus CAN shipping. If someone would like to purchase the whole lot, I am willing to sell everything for $2000 and shipping would be calculated. Delivery within 5 hours of 24210 is free. 2. Hartley Fence for circles and diagonal lines. I purchased this in late 2013 with longarm machine. I ended up doing more t-shirt/memory quilts than quilt tops, so I haven't had need of this accessory. It does fit a Bliss Table. Asking $330 (includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail). This accessory retails for $595. A Hartley Fence photo is attached for reference. Please contact me at TamaraBobbitt@gmail.com or 713.301.2459 Thanks!
  3. I am bringing home my first ever long arm machine on Tuesday, a 2013 dealer demo blissed Millenium on a 12' table. I am SO EXCITED! My APQS dealer is 2 hours away from me and I want to be able to jump in right away as soon as she's set up in my studio. What goodies should I buy while I'm in the shop? I know I want to learn to do ruler work, so I'll need the extended base. I do intricate appliqué on my own quilts and would like to be able to ditch around the appliqué with accuracy. Are the micro drive handles the best way to do that, or should I try one of the acrylic needle guide tools (sold by long arm ruler mfgs) instead? What thread should I start with? Any other gadgets or gizmos that would be helpful? Also, if I put her on casters, can I move her on carpet? I just want to give myself an extra couple feet behind the machine for pantos and be able to push her back to the wall when I'm working from the front or using my other machines. i'm hoping to add IQ or Quiltpath in the future, but first I want to get used to the machine, loading quilts, etc. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.
