  1. I am very excited that I have a buyer for my current longarm and will soon be ordering my Lucey! I am giving the buyer any product that is specific to the machine. I have a ton of needles and I don't want to give them all away if they are the same needles the Lucey will need. Can someone please tell me which needles I will be using? Thank you in advance! Tammy
  2. Hi all I have just used the last MR needle which came with my Millie and my supplier has sent 134 SAN 6 10Nm 110/18 needles. Can you please confirm whether these are OK to use since everywhere I have searched it says to use MR needles. Many thanks in advance. LongarmLynda
  3. I recently bought a new pack of needles for my Millie from a local longarm supplier (not APQS), and want to make sure they are the correct type. The yellow opened pack are the needles I am using now. The unopened black pack is new. Thank you for your help! Joan

    Todays the Day

George is suppose to arrive today. Room finished getting stuff out at 9pm last night. Junk is in container tub till hubby tosses most of it. Anyway questions What needles do you use for King Tut thread ( I have a bunch and am hoping George doesn't throw any fits) for invisible thread, and for silk thread? Thanks Has anyone had trouble using the invisible thread on their machines? Thanks for your help.
  5. Hello, I had the day off from work today for President's Day and was looking forward to finishing up two kid quilts for charity. The first one went smoothly. Then the second quilt after lunch--a totally different pattern from the first-- caused me and George great headaches. I broke the tip off two brand new needles. I have to admit that the quilt I was working on had thick seams because it was foundation-pieced on muslin. I also used spray starch on some of the fabrics to keep them crisp while cutting. Do any of you think that might have been the problem? Anyway, I think I will finish the second quilt this coming weekend using my Bernina until I can figure out (hopefully with your expert advice) what is going on with George and the needles. Any advice you can share would be appreciated. Thanks! --Annabelle PS: I have been away a long time from this forum and am glad to be back. I took a couple years' break while I went back to school and then my husband and I moved to a smaller house after our youngest child went away to college last fall. I now have a sewing studio on the ground floor overlooking the lake. I was hoping George would be very happy there. But now I am not so sure!
