  4. Hi APQS: When you stitch a quilt path pantograph as a pattern then finish stitching the pattern how do you find the "Move to Left" "Move to Center" "Move to Right" options for the next placement? I found the APQS video on how to do this when you quilt the pantograph as a row but not as a pattern. Thanks for your guidance. Jamie Bennett REPLY

  14. Hello everyone! By now you may have heard the exciting news that a major upgrade of Quilt Path is fast approaching! We’re in the final stages of testing and writing documentation so that we can get the new features to you soon. These include fast and simple border and corner placement, placing blocks using real size measurements, additional design templates, more free designs, design skew and more! You have also probably heard about Windows 10 and have been wondering if you should upgrade your Quilt Path tablet to this new operating system. After much research and consideration about how the upgrade might affect Quilt Path operation, APQS is recommending that Quilt Path users do take advantage of the free upgrade offer Microsoft has presented. The deadline for the free upgrade is next Friday, July 29. The attached document answers important questions about upgrading including the benefits of upgrading, how to upgrade, changes to settings on your tablet and Quilt Path and more. It also provides instructions and links to help you make the upgrade as quick and painless as possible. However, the upgrade will take several hours to complete, so we encourage you to plan accordingly. Rest assured that you are not required to upgrade to Windows 10 to continue using Quilt Path. However, upgrading now will ensure that your tablet stays current and will help us with troubleshooting issues going forward. If you have questions feel free to contact me. In addition, if you are on Facebook but are not already a member of the private Facebook Quilt Path Users Group, please let me know so that we can invite you to join. This active and helpful group for APQS Quilt Path owners all share tips, quilting ideas, troubleshooting tips, design suggestions and more—and we’d love to have you as a member! Just send me an email letting me know you’d like to join. (You will need to be on Facebook to join, however.) We’re anxious to get the finishing touches on the new Quilt Path upgrade and will get that out to you as soon as possible! Happy Quilting!
  15. Hello. I've just unpacked my Millie after two years in storage and have hooked up Quilt Path. Since I've been offline for awhile, I'm wondering what the latest Quilt Path version is and what is the supported Microsoft Windows version. Thanks for your help. Cindy
  16. We are working on a quilt for our LQS to display in their window, and after advancing to start the third row, we’re hitting a major bug. There is a long line starting at the top of the pattern about 3/4 of the way across the row going all the way back to the beginning of the row. When we traced it, it hits that spot, goes back to the bottom of the starting line and goes back again. We have no idea whether or not it will actually stitch as it’s going? The pattern was purchased from Urban Elementz and we use the cup file type. We deleted it, reinstalled it, shut everything down, restarted, and it’s still doing it. Has anyone run across this before? We have SO many issues like this with our copy of QP. It crashes all the time. It’s incredibly slow. Hoping someone can offer some input here. TIA

  19. I have for sale a gently used 2003 APQS Millennium (26-inch throat) industrial long arm machine on a 12-foot table. I added the computer program system Quilt Path 3 years ago at a cost of $9,500 USD. Quilt Path is a very versatile program and comes with free upgrades and updates FOR LIFE to whoever owns it, even if you are a second owner of the software. It is great for blocks of any shape, borders, whole cloth quilts and pantographs plus many more options. There are tons of great support people for beginners for both the Millennium and the Quilt Path. The machine comes with a built-in stitch length regulator, channel locks, automatic thread cutter, manual, and much more. I have a motorized Quilt advance system worth every penny of the $1,000 USD I paid for it. I have taken good care of her and have never had any issues with it. The tension is easy to set, and I primarily use Glide thread and Glide magnetic bobbins. I have upgraded to the Bliss Rail system and table about 4 years ago ($3,000 USD) and all new M&M wheels and now it is as smooth as butter for great Free motion quilting. I have also upgraded the older Fluorescent light to a LED light with both white and black light which opened a wider visibility area tremendously. I also upgraded the original hopping foot to a removable ruler foot so if you are interested in acquiring new/different feet you can order them from APQS or a dealer that is close to you. The ruler base is included. (worth 140 USD new). There are several different feet you can choose from. I replaced the canvas leaders this last spring (2018) so they are nice and fresh. I have a leader grip style mounting system called Mondo clips. They are much more flexible and user friendly than the original Leader grips. They are easily removable if you have a project that you just need to quickly pin on. I have some rulers and Quilt Path Digital Designs if you would like to start off your library of designs other that the stock designs Quilt Path comes with. I will throw in a couple cones of thread to get you started. To buy brand new at today's prices would be about $30,000 USD. I have added a comparison chart below with the exchange rate from the APQS website. An APQS dealer has priced my machine at $20,000 CAD or $15,300 USD. I am open negotiationg offers if you are interested. Please email me Terry Forlin at tforlin0006@gmail.com with any questions you may have. I live in Fruitvale BC and you can come pick up or we can arrange for shipping which will be extra. Just for comparison, what a NEW machine and software with upgrades would be in US dollars and Canadian dollars . *These prices are before taxes and/or brokerage fees. Exchange rate: USD to CAD for the date of July 26, 2018, 1.30715 Millennium: $18,900.00 USD X 1.30715 = $24,705.16 CANADIAN Bliss System: 1,000.00 USD X 1.30715 = 1,306.82 CANADIAN Quilt Path Program: 9,500.00 USD X 1.30715 = 12,415.30 CANADIAN Motorized Quilt Advance: 1,350.00 USD X 1.30715 = 1,764.05 CANADIAN TOTALS NEW PACKAGE: $29,850.00 USD X 1.30715 = $40,191.33 CANADIAN
  20. SOLD I am leaving this post out here for others who are selling their machines to know what it went for. We did deliver and set-up the machine for her at that price. I purchased my Millenium in 2007. It has been gently used due to health issues. I added the Quilt Path in 2015 which made quilting much easier. Just load the top and let the computer do most of the work. Uses a Windows Surface Pro tablet to "drive the machine". This system will do KING size quilts. It has the Power Advance; with the touch of a foot the quilt will advance or reverse. There is an overhead bar to possibly install lighting. It has a great stitch regulator! Also, includes microhandles, a platform for ruler work and a Circle Lord system for the APQS. http://circlelordbasic.blogspot.com/ The laser pointer is also included for panto work and can be moved to the front of the machine, too. I have extra bobbin cases, thread, rulers, thread and miscellaneous items that will be included in the purchase. I have been asked if the machine has the Bliss Track System. It does not. But it does have the better wheels. The M&M wheels were added with the Quilt Path. They move much better than the original ones. From a quick search looks like they go for about $10,000 without the Quilt Path. It's another $10,000. I would be willing to start an asking price of $14,500 for all of it. Including delivery. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Price reduction on 01/11/2018 $13,000. This needs a new home. (It was purchased on 03/11/2018 for the @13,000 listed.) If you are interested, let me know. I am willing to negotiate! SOLD Mary B Email me at marobu@gmail.com or call or text me at 702-468-5489... My husband realized that the person buying the machine could live elsewhere and he excitedly said, "ROAD TRIP"! Don't let the location of the machine stop you from inquiring. For Sale: Gently Used 2007 Millennium with Quilt Path and 14' table SOLD SOLD
