What is the range of stitch length available on the Millie? I would like to be able to set stitch length with precision and accuracy, especially when doing micro-stippling. I need to be able to see the actual stitch length quantified so I can determine exactly the number I want. For example, for microstipling work, I sometimes need a stitch length of up to 18 spi.
Can anyone explain why my bobbin would be running HOT? I'm really not quilting that fast. I've had a few thread breaks up top (but that may be because it jumped out of a pigtail). I use magnaglide bobbins, Glide on top, and when I put my hand on the bobbin to check thread, it almost burns my fingers! This happened last quilt as well. I've oiled, cleaned lint, rethreaded.....What is happening?!! Anne Sorry forgot to say I use a 2013 MIllie.
I am quilt for a gal that is wanting to use 2 layers of warm & natural, need to know pros/cons. Do I need to adjust to a longer stitch length so that it does not create a tightness and cause it to pucker? All opinions welcome TIA, Diane on a Millie
I'm new to quilt path, but not new to this computer aided program (I've used it for a bernina machine). I can't see how to change the stitch length in the program. It says 10, and when I change my stitch length on Millie it doesn't reflect in Quilt Path. I've watched some of the videos, but I haven't found my answer.
