  1. Hi friends, I’ve tried locally to sell my used Ultimate I but there are several in the area with machines already established. I’m running into the ‘that’s an old machine’ excuse, but we know it’s a great machine, especially if wanting to upgrade to a computerized quilting setup. Which I do not. So... Here’s what I’m selling for $3800. **I will post to the Machines for Sale Page when I am at a regular computer. For some reason the only place I can get to on my phone today is this one. Ultimate I (upgraded to I/S Turbo in 2012 but used little due to two shoulder surgeries) with the 14’ frame with older upgraded legs (square tube but newer than the original) that I bought used from APQS, newer carriage, M&M wheels, new tension assembly, and new hook assembly (I hope that’s the right term!). Because of my shoulder issues I added some bike handle grips and a cup holder for my supplies on the front handles that I’ll remove yet. The ruler base in the pics is one I made and doesn’t go with it but will have the original in place. We could deliver, DEPENDING on location, for a fee. That can be discussed with an interested party. PM me here and I’ll get back to you.

  4. I completed this Judy Niemeyer Mariners Compass Quilt on July 4th. I started piecing this quilt as part of a technique of the month class in April 2013. The top was completed November of the same year. This is the first quilt that I marked for quilting before putting it on the frame. I'm quite happy with the results! The quilt was quilted on my Ultimate I.
  5. Hello, I'm very excited because I'm seriously thinking about getting the Intelliquilter for my Ultimate I. I was thinking about getting a new Millie and the IQ, but the cost was a little beyond my reach (okay, I'd have to sell a kidney, lol). Anyway, when I was talking to the IQ sales person in California (Ron Paul) he recommended that I get all the spare parts I would need for him to service the machine. ????? Like what??? He said, just call APQS and they can tell you what you need. I'll be honest, I'm at a complete loss. So far all I've got on my list are motor brushes and I'm not even sure what those are. Can anyone help me figure out what normal wear parts I might need to order to give my Ult I a nice "like new" tune up? I'm also thinking about putting a laser light on the front of the machine. I see that the one that mounts in the back of the machine has a place where it plugs in to the machine (I'm assuming for power). Does anyone know how I would go about putting one on the front of the machine? Do I need to purchase a separate power adapter or is there a place on the front (maybe on the inside) of the machine where the laser light would plug in? Thanks soooooo much for anyone to takes the time to respond to this posting. I truly need and apprciate any and all help and suggestions. Lora.
