I have been making some little kids charity quilts so I could work on my pantos. Problem - to utilize the full wide of a single cut of fabric and keep the quilt as wide as possible the clamps were totally in the way and there was no place to check my tension...

Problem solved - made fabric leaders and then on the left side added a small quilt sandwich that I could move along as I advanced the quilt. Worked great and the quilt width ended up being about 39" instead of 35 - 36! Just thought this might be of interest to some of you. If you click on the picture - it will enlarge and you can see easier.
