Grammie
So when I do go with the Compuquilter I will still be able to go completely freehand and use my Stitch REG as I do now? Without a bunch of hooking and unhooking for instance.
Guest LA
Yes, Tammie that is correct. All you have to do is to disable the two cables that hold the "X" & "Y" , takes 5 seconds maybe! I am doing a quilt today that has CQ stars through out, I will disable the CQ & do some McTavishing background fill. I love the fact that I can move so quickly between the two. I would *NEVER* be able to do stars with a template, but so consistant & perfect with CQ. I will post pictures later for you.
Guest LA
Hi Tammie, I have some pictures on my Web shots gallery with some CQ quilting incorporating free-hand quilting in the background. It was fast & fun, & I would have *never* been able to consistently quilt all of the stars so uniform & accurate! http://community.webshots.com/album/542652510tbHMdg I love my CQ!
