digisuz
Hi Everyone, You can take a look at Unlimited Possibilities Magazine for articles about Computerized Quilting. In the November issue, I’ve written about CompuQuilter’s new program update (CQ.4) and digitizing with AutoSketch for CQ. Starting next year, the focus of my articles will be to interview everyday quilters who are using different computerized systems. We’ll take a peek into their lives, discover what they’re doing with their systems and what led to their decision to add computerization. My approach will be non-partisan, without bias for a particular system . . . all computerized quilting is fun and exciting . . that’s what I think. If you have questions for computerized quilters please contact me. I’m also interested in talking to longarm and midarm quilters using computerization for upcoming articles. I hope you enjoy the articles. digisuz
Thank you Edie, Kenna and Renae for the nice comments. I love Unlimited Possibilities Magazine and think it's great that they have a computerized quilting section. I've just submitted my article for January 09. Edie, I'm happy for you that Vicki has offered to replace your magazine. It sounded like it was a mess from the storm. sewingjunky
I loved your article! Way to go!!!!! I always look forward to being awestruck by the quilts in the magazine, and I hide them from my husband, so he doesn't get his expectations of my skills mixed up with the possiblities! I throw away "victoria secrets" advertisments for the same reason LOL The magazine though gets read page by page and saved in a bookshelf! KathyA
When did the new issue go out. I have not received mine yet. Hope it's just a slight delay.....never know with the post office in a very small town....
digisuz
I just got back to this thread. I've been working on the January article. Thank you Brendalee and Tammie for the very nice comments. They really boost my confidence. It's fun to write about digitizing, computerized quilting and the people using these systems. For the January article, I interviewed an IQ owner. We talked about how she got into quilting and eventually purchasing computerization for her longarm machines. I found her story interesting. Starting with the March issue, I'll be interviewing a couple of different computerized quilters each article. We'll discuss each quilters journey, how they're using their computerized systems and what features they like best. Kathy, I hope by now you've received your magazine. Sometimes they can get delayed in smaller towns. If not, you can always call Unlimited Possibilities and let them know. Vicki has posted the phone number above. I'm interested in talking to quilters using computerized systems for future articles. Please contact me.
