BobbieJones
Has anyone experienced a problem with the needle up/down going down very slow and stopping part way down and never coming up? I have to turn the machine off and manually bring the needle back up. I got some thread wrapped around inside the fly wheel area but have cleaned that out. Any suggestions to solve my problem would be appreaciated so I can get back to quilting. bj
bobbipatillo
One thing I noticed on my LA is that I need to set the stitch speed BEFORE I do needle down. It seems like if I have it at zero (or whatever the startup default is) it has to be manually pulled up each time. Try setting the speed first. hope it helps you Bobbi
BobbieJones
Thanks Bobbi. I'm up and running again but it still doesn't seem right. bj
Gator
Give Amy a call. This happened to me and I had to change the "daughter board" which wasn't hard.
IBQLTN2
there isalso an adjustment for the needle up/down button. to either speed it up or slow it down if it does more than one cycle. Call APQS and it is an easy adjustment. With my Lenni it was just turning a small screw till it cycled properly. Jeanne
