judysmith
It's Sunday evening here and I've finally posted off my photos of the bowed Lenni carriage. I've measured a difference of one eighth of an inch between the outside edges and the middle. No wonder I'm struggling to hold a steady line! I'll keep you posted. judysmith
Good morning Another update on my flexing carriage. At this stage technical department can't say why it's happening to some and not others. However, they are sending me out a new pan, which I am very pleased with. They've suggested with the new pan to park the machine, when not in use, with the weight of the machine over the carriage axle, and not in the centre of the pan. I think that I'll also remove the Hartley base, when not in use. I'm not 100% certain that it's extra weight conributes to the flexing, but it's worth giving it a go. Thankyou to the the technical department for your prompt response - it is much appreciated. Judy
