Loes
Hi everyone, I am really happy, proud and excited to announce the new Pre-Design Studio software for embroiderers, machine quilters (and garment pattern drafters too)! The new program is an enhancement of Pre-Design. One of the exciting new features is to be able to convert a pattern into stitches (running stitch or bean stitch) and take the resulting DST file into your embroidery machine rightaway. That makes it possible to create a quilt pattern, export as DXF if you have a computerized longarm system, or copy and paste and print at actual size as a panto-roll, or print at actual size and create your own quilt stencil, and now, with the new program, use exactly the same pattern, resize it and turn it into a quilt label to stitch on your embroidery machine! There are more new features: export to WMF for example and the possibility to add notes on a pattern: Example: create a pattern and export to DXF for your computerized system. Then, still in Pre-Design Studio, copy, paste and align the pattern, make two extra rows, align and interlock them; add notes, instructions for your customer. Then export to WMF. This WMF is a nice companion to the DXF for your computerized system, and also a worksheet for your customer to see how the pattern repeats and interlocks. And there's more, so I guess you just have to visit http://www.pre-designstudio.com and download the trial version. Be sure to watch all tutorial movies - they just take a couple of minutes each (which in total is the entire learning curve for Pre-Design Studio by the way). There's an upgrade offer for owners of the "old" Pre-Design too. Oh, and today (Friday Nov. 21 2008) and tomorrow: free shipping Happy Holidays!
