April W
How come some topics totally dissappear? Did we become too morbid? Too catty? Too mean...nasty...evil? Because truly I was just kidding about the 'exes'.
mrsbishwit
Do you mean why some topics end up being deleted? The admin/moderators etc.. may delete a topic if they think it is getting too heated before things get out of control. It's their way of keeping harmony and peace on the forums. Hollyrw
On some message boards, just clicking the "Report" button deletes the post or even the entire thread. I'm not sure if that happens here or not. The moderators may be notified and determine to delete the thread. Again, I don't know about this board. April W
I was just wondering, since the topic was here yesterday and now all of it is gone.
quiltmonkey
I think perhaps that photo was a little too graphic.
barbm
I can understand why the "For Nancy Jo" topic was deleted - it was getting out of hand and just a little tooooo graphic, but Nancy Jo's original "Broken Heart" topic was an expression of the support we all have for one another. I'm not sure why it was deleted, but that's a decision made by APQS and its Forum Administrators, I guess. Maybe there were some liability issues involved. And FYI, clicking the "Report" button doesn't delete anything, just starts the process of sending a notice to the Forum Administrators. Also FYI, the title of "Moderator" is given to any of the APQS Sales Reps, but we don't have any control over the Forum. That's for the Administrators. Each board is run differently. On the one of the major TV network boards, enough "Report" clicks will delete the post/thread and suspend the poster automatically! Trolls do it just to be mean and get people suspended.

yeoldeforest
BTW - If you post something on the chat that you want to take back or no longer want it posted, you can delete your own entry. You can't delete the entire thread just your own personal response. Ask me how I know:)
