cherylsterling
Hi everyone! I made a new portrait last week for some friends of mine and I think it turned out really nice. I made this quilt as a very late Christmas/Birthday gift. I am trying something new by making the quilt larger than it needs to be and then mounting it on stretcher bars. I liked how it turned out. Putting it on stretcher bars makes the quilt wall ready without having to buy a frame or mat the piece. Coolness. I haven't had much time to hang out and read the list so I hope everyone is doing well. cherylsterling
Thank you very much everyone. Originally posted by quiltaholi_518 Cheryl-how big is it, you don't say. I may have to figure out an alternate way to make it out on Monday but I do want to come. Unfortunately I did give the quilt already so I won't be bringing it. I'll call you Sunday. chickenscratch
Cheryl, What technique do you use to do your piece work. I love the transitions of the colors and the quilting is fabulous, as usual. Teresa www.chickenscratchquilting.com
