Bobette Miller
I would be interested to hear what stitch length any of you like to set the machine on for your Panto or design? Thanks Bobette Paradise CA
Quilts2DI4
I like mine at 9-10....Not too tight and not too loose and I think it looks around the size of good hand stitching. My opinion. Diana also drives a Millennium
JudyL
Bobette: I keep mine set on 12. I could be wrong (happened once before:P) but I think the settings could vary a bit from machine to machine depending maybe on how the SR fits against the wheels??? jeri
I vary mine depending on what type of quilting I'm doing. Tighter/closer designs or small background fillers ie:McTavishing and tiny stipples get smaller stitches 12 or more. SID and open designs usually about 9.5. Detailed pantos or freehand with lots of changes in direction usually about
LindaB
I like to set my Millie's stitches at 11, but if I'm using really pretty variegated threads set it at 10 - 10.5. I think it's one of those things that "it's in the eye of the beholder".... You'll soon figure out what looks good to your eye. Good luck and have fun with your Millennium Linda B. Grace
My Mille has a different stitch reading on the dial depending on if you are at the front or back of the machine. Therefore, I don't see how it is possible to set such precise settings as those listed. I personally set it 'around' 10. I just thought the numbers on the dial were for approximation of stitch length. Do I have problem with my dial? The stitches are good, consistant, mostly, and it works for me. I am curious about how to get exact settings, however.
connie hurst
Hi Gracious, Yes, your meters should be almost exactly the same, if not then we need to do some checking and see what is going on.. Call me and I will walk you through some trouble shooting!
