grammydiane
Hi...Maybe it's just me, but I find that I seem to be bending over and peeking at:o my needle to see where I'm going. Could my table be too low. Right now the front roller hits me about 2" below my hip bones. Does anyone else ever have this problem, and how high to you have your tables set? Thanks much. birgitquilts
Diane, I had the same feeling when I first set up my Millie. When I asked the same question as you just did, I was told that the table has the correct height when the front roller is as high as my belly button. So, since I have adjusted my Millie's feet accordingly, my back is thanking me all the time. Birgit
grammydiane
Thanks Birgit...If I go with that than my table is about 2" too low. Will have to see how much higher my legs will raise the table. I knew something didn't seem quite right. May have to put blocks under the legs if they won't go high enough. birgitquilts
Diane, I was told that there are about 9 extra inches hidden in the Millie's feet. By turning the screws at the bottom of each leg you can lengthen or shorten the lower portion (shiny metal) - no idea if this makes sense. Good luck, Birgit
