sewingjunky
I really enjoyed getting to let my Husband and kids get to know what kind of cool people I hang out with! Kevin was very impressed with how well my friends behaved, no one went running thru the house chasing the dog shooting darts at her, so it was all GOOD!:P The quilts were amazing!!!! Thanks again ladies.:)
newellyn
Shana, The guild quilt was not a pattern. The inspiration came from a little tiny picture that one of the members cut out of a magazine years ago. We issued background fabric to each member and asked for stars to be made in various sizes using the common background and brights from stashes. The feathered star was assigned. Then a group of members put them on a design board and played until it was a pleasing array, adding strips of background as needed. It really did turn out well, now if I just don't screw it up with the quilting. I am scared to death.
