MarieBrewer
Today it is 64 degrees here in the lovely Black Hills of South Dakota. What a place to be!!! No wonder we have an influx of people coming here. Yesterday I washed my windows. Imagine that!! In the middle of January!!!
witha'K'quilting
It is the same here in Ely Nevada. I have never seen it above freezing in January. It is well below freezing at night...but not subzero thank goodness. Happy Quilting!!

quiltmonkey
After nearly 2 weeks of (way too scary to mention here) cold temps, last week we had a chinook for nearly 7 days and it was in the 40's and lots of our snow melted; everything that was on the roof and all the trees is gone. Weeeeeird!

Johnmach
Salinas, CA, set its 5th day in the last 10 days as a tied record, or new record. Today was 80. Could you people in the mid-west or east please send us some rain? Johnmach
Stagecl
I'd send some if I had some, John. My parents live north of SF and are needing more rain too. It is the rainy season out there and it isn't happening.
quiltingjoyful51
In Ohio we are on our tenth day of realy cold stuff. We were colder than Alaska a couple days last week.
hollyc
They say when it is cold in Minnesota, it is warm in Alaska, last week we were in the -20's, highs below zero for a few days. Crunchy snow when you walk, the cars sound so loud. But, on a clear day, the sky is SO blue.
